The new Macallan in Lalique Curiously Small Stills decanter

The 4th limited edition of the Curiously Small Stills decanter was launched by the famous partnership of The Macallan and Lalique last month at Cannes. An intimate gathering at the TFWA World Exhibition got to witness the unveiling of this beautiful object d’art. The Curiously Small Stills decanter is restricted to only 400 individually numbered decanters which are filled with a rare 60yo Macallan single malt whisky. For those less aware of the finer luxuries of life, this special, rare single malt whiskey has been drawn from five sherry butts and is made from a mix of Spanish and American oak that was filled on the 9th and 10th of November in 1950!
The Edrington Group launched this extraordinary decanter as the latest addition to the Six Pillars Collection. The skill and knowledge of Ren Lalique and Macallan’s craftsmen produced this exceptionally French design in Paris after which, the crystal making facility in Wingen-sur-Moder, Alsace took over to complete this masterpiece. A distinctive circle of raised “‘ on the face of the decanter, and “satin’ effect on the sides and shoulders of vessel set this creation a part from others decanters found worldwide. 15 craftsmen spent painstaking hours and represent the authenticity and 100 years of creativity, craftsmanship and heritage of followed by house.
Alexander McQueen designs bottle for Chivas Regal

The Scottish Whisky makers Chivas Regal have teamed up with British designer Alexander McQueen to create a limited edition bottle for their Gold Signature 18 Year old whiskey.
McQueen’s design features royal blue leather detailing and comes topped with a hand-enameled blue, red and gold cap paying tribute to the Royal Warrant granted to Chivas Regal in 1843 by Queen Victoria. “This is a piece of art which reflects the luxury and craftsmanship values of what haute couture is all about,” McQueen tells Vogue UK. “You can see my signature ‘stamp’ with the blue leather “dress’ and the Union Jack colors. I have created a rare collector’s item that those with an eye for design will want to keep.” This exclusive product has 5 bottles left from an original 12 supplied exclusively to Selfridges in London.
Selfridges and Johnnie Walker celebrate 100 years together with limited edition bottle

Seems British retailer, Selfridges is still in the mood of its centenary celebrations with more extraordinary collaborative products. Selfridges is celebrating its 100 years along with Johnnie Walker, a premium whiskey maker. Bloom have designed a limited edition bottle to mark the 100 year anniversary of both Johnnie Walker Black Label and Selfridges. Each of the 100 bespoke bottles produced has a real leather label in Selfridges’ signature canary yellow color and is individually numbered. Exclusive to Selfridges each bottle costs 100 pounds.
Their Black Label, a 12-year scotch, is excellent grade middle-tier malt that provides superior taste with a competitive price. Johnnie Walker Black Label was originally launched by Alexander, grandson of John Walker, the founder of the great Walker whisky dynasty. In 1906 he launched a whisky based on his father’s original recipe called “Extra Special Old Highland Whisky’. It was packaged in a square bottle with a slanting label, still hallmarks of the Johnnie Walker range today.
Elle MacPherson gets first new Fiat 500 Convertible

This baby made its international public debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show in March. And now the first Fiat 500 convertible was recently delivered to supermodel Elle MacPherson at her home in Notting Hill. MacPherson reportedly owns a hardtop 500 and has been quoted in the past saying how much she loves it.
The car’s European launch was just held at the Whisky Mist in London and, in addition to Elle MacPherson, was attended by Edoardo Agnelli, the nephew of Fiat’s co-founder, will.I.am from the Black Eyed Peas and Amelle Berrabah from Sugababes. The 500C’s electrically-operated soft top, which comes in ivory, red or black hues, features a full glass rear window and slides down the center of the car to the rear, leaving the door pillars intact. Fiat says this allows the car to serve as daily transportation regardless of the weather.
Johnnie Walker introduce the latest The John Walker

The Scottish distillers Johnnie Walker have released a new whisky named The John Walker in honor of their founder. The John Walker is an exclusive whisky which is blended using nine of finest distilleries.
Some of the distilleries used have already closed such as Cambus and Glen Albyn so the remaining casks are used as well as some of Johnnie Walker’s classic distilleries Mortlach and Dailuaine. The John Walker has sweet hints of vanilla oak with a smokey taste and a mellow fruity flavor. The John Walker is available in extremely limited quantities making it Johnnie Walker’s most exclusive whisky to date.
Johnnie Walker Black Label 100th anniversary limited edition bottle

Coming September, all Johnie Walker fans will be treated with a special collector’s edition bottle released by Johnie Walker Black Label to commemorate the Scotch’s 100th anniversary. The limited edition black glass bottle contains the signature 12-year-old whisky and will retail for $50.
Black Label is blended in the same style as it has been in Scotland since 1909 when founder John Walker’s grandsons, George and Alexander II, officially named their signature blend Black Label. The collector’s bottle also serves as a unique medium to tell the story of Black Label’s rich history with a historic timeline featured on its back, charting the rise of the world famous Scotch.

Its grand, its baroque and its Chivas “” the Signature 18 year whisky bottle! Chivas Brothers the number one whisky brand has joined hands with leading French fashion designer Christian Lacroix once again to conceive and design its limited edition Chivas Scotch Whisky.
Slated for a November 2010 debut in at Aelia’s stores in terminals 2C and 2E of Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport this “regal’ bottle will be available thereafter at key international airports around the world.
After the super success of last year’s Chivas-Lacroix Chivas 12 Magnum, this luxury bottle, will feature the intricate metallic detailing reminiscent of the 12 Magnum bottles. The bottle which has taken 18 months to make incorporates a lavish, brocade treasure box with the Chivas label embroidered in jacquard and a complex design influenced by Lacroix’s signature designs.
Along with the bottle comes the ornate box, which once again features a brocade design in French jacquard with a mirror interior and an embroidered Chivas label on its cover.

Now here’s some good news “” Royal Salute has unveiled its new brand of premium whisky in Beijing, China “” a special aged Scotch whisky blend for the wealthy connoisseurs of taste.
In recent times China, and countries like Korea, Vietnam and India, have seen an upswing in passion for high-end liquors. Estimates show that China has shown the highest growth in Scotch whisky over the last 20 years with 22 percent annual compound growth by volumes.
