Queen Elizabeth IIs Daimler Majestic V8 Jaguar for sale

Daimler Majestic V8 Jaguar, formerly owned and driven by the Queen is up for sale by Peter Ratcliffe, the collector who bought the car from Jaguar.

Used by the Queen between 2001 and 2004, the luxury car has covered just 12,000 miles traveling back and forth between Buckingham Palace and the Queen’s Windsor estate.

The unique Jaguar Daimler was modified by Jaguar to meet the Queen’s specifications: a redesigned armrest to fit her handbag, a direct line to Downing Street and the Home Office, lambskin rugs and soft leather seats with special stitching of indispensable quality.

The car also features a special console of switches that control flashingstrobe and blue emergency convoy lights, a secure telephone link to Downing Street and the Home Office and a motor which alone values $99,060.

According to Ratcliffe, there is nothing else out there, or ever going to be out there, that you can buy and say this was the personal car of the Queen of England, specially built for her.
