Rolls-Royce Phantom Experimental Electric Car

This year’s Geneva Motor Show, speculation was rife that Rolls-Royce would come out with an electric version of the Phantom. And confirming the news, the luxury car giants announced a one-off version on the Phantom Experimental Electric code named 102EX, to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, 2011. For the rest of the year, the go through a series of test rides to in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America for creating research data on which Rolls-Royce will base their future models. The company has no plans to retail the vehicle, but the car is said to deliver decent drive range between recharges.
Maybach unveils 57, 57S, 62 and 62S at the 2010 Paris Motor Show

At the Paris in Paris, Maybach will be presenting its high-end luxury saloons with added sparkle and with significantly extended high-class equipment and individualisation options. A large new chrome radiator grille confidently emphasises the legendary saloons’ exceptional status. Other new highlights include the bonnet with a shaped edge, the trim on the front bumper with daytime driving lights featuring LED technology, high-quality, dark red tail lights and a new, exclusively developed paint and stylish wheels. In future those purchasing a Maybach 57 and 57 S will also be able to opt for the rear reclining seat from the Maybach 62 models. New items are available on request, among them seat piping which is hand-braided or refined with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, an exquisite flacon perfume atomiser and a WLAN router for wireless internet access. As an option, a 19-inch cinema screen and an overview camera for the rear passengers can be installed in the rear of the Maybach 62 and 62 S models. The output of the twelve-cylinder engine in the Maybach 57 S and 62 S has been increased to 463 kW (630 hp) but the pollutant emissions of all models have still been cut. (more…)
Project Kahn Renovates Rolls Royce Phantom

By customizing the Rolls Royce Phantom, Project Kahn has yet again proved that they chase perfection in all their conversions.
The Rolls Royce you see above now boasts of a new electronically adjustable sports suspension riding on unique 22-inch Kahn RSD alloy wheels. And to add to the exclusiveness, the windows have been tinted; the lights received the clear lens treatment and inside the seats have been covered in Nappa leather. Not to mention, a golfing umbrella made of carbon has also been included in this car.

Rolls Royce unveils ‘Bespoke Yas Eagle range’

Rolls Royce Abu Dhabi recently unveiled a special edition model range called Yas Eagle to celebrate the regions first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The new Bespoke Yas Eagle range includes three models: the Phantom Sedan, Phantom Coupe and Phantom Drophead Coupe.
The Bespoke Yas Eagle series also features a special two-tone paint scheme in white and blue, Cobalto Blue and Mugello Red upholstery, special wood interior accents and white dials. Apart from this, the Rolls Royce Yas Eagle also boasts of a bespoke steering wheel, lambswool foot mats and special tread plates.
‚ On its exterior, the Rolls Royce Yas Eagle features a special front fascia with a checkerboard motif, an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy, 21 inch wheels and chromed exhaust pipes.
