President
A look inside the gold-plated private jet

President Yanukovych had the good fortune of inheriting his predecessor, former President Viktor Yushchenko’s $90 million private aircraft. The aircraft A-319-115XCJ took a team of specialists three years to build and is a fifth generation aircraft. Customized in every possible way, the interiors reek of gold by which we mean gold-plated.
The state-of-the-art aircraft is furnished with a personal office, conference room, and kitchen, separate compartments for delegates, rest area and storage space. The interiors are furnished with neutral upholstery while the panels, tables and cabinets are made from light lacquered wood giving off a contemporary vibe.
The bed is draped in high-end Jacquard fabric and a gold framed mirror looms over the bed frame on the wall. The lamps in the bedroom and bathroom are luxuriously or garishly gold plated too. To top it off, the bathroom is fitted with sink made from pink marble and gold-plated faucet. It appears the Ukrainian President is living large like a king while the taxpayers continue to foot the bill.

Audi On The Top Of Luxury Cars for “Total Value”

The Total Value Index measures the total value of a vehicle from the ownership experience to financial considerations, such as fuel economy, resale value and reliability. It’s a comprehensive study that Strategic Vision has issued for 14 years.
In the 2010 report, Audi had more segment leaders than any other luxury car maker. For the third consecutive year, the Q7 took the top position in the luxe SUV category. The Audi A8 won the luxe car category, while the Audi A5 Cabriolet was named the top model among convertibles costing more than $30,000. The Audi TT turned in the best score in the category for Premium Coupes costing more than $28,000.
“Overall value is a key factor with today’s luxury car buyers,” said Johan de Nysschen, President, and Audi of America. “We recognize that future success depends on meeting the short-term and long-term value expectations of our customers.”
