According to Zillow.com, ABC’s the Bachelor always takes place in a gorgeous home in the Los Angeles area and keep in mind it has to be large enough to house 25 single and ready to mingle women and one very lucky bachelor; or vice versa when it comes time to film a season of The Bachelorette. Either way, it takes one expansive and breathtaking property to be worthy of this popular show. The 4,800-square-feet house comes with six bedrooms, four and a half baths, a library, large open kitchen and dining area, pool, and hot tub, all surrounded by views of the valley and vineyards. Vineyard Knoll is located in Sonoma County’s small town of Glen Ellen and is available for rent at $2,100 per night, $13,225 a week or $35,225 a month.

Hacienda Santa Ins is a unique locale for a family gathering, reunion, corporate retreat, or small wedding. Costa Rica’s Pacific beaches are 20 minutes away from the Hacienda’s helipad. And the Hacienda is ideally located for car or helicopter excursions to San Jose, the capital, as well as rain forests, waterfalls and volcanoes, in Costa Rica’s interior. Pricing ranges from $12,000 to $18,500 per day. There is an added price for children and other guests, depending on the ages, ranging from $200 to $500 per day.

The Hotel Des Artistes, 1 West 67th in New York City. The building is located off Central Park West and designed by George Mort Pollard in a Neo-Gothic-style building in 1916. The nine-room duplex opens to a large foyer and a great room with a wall of double height leaded glass windows. The room is framed by a double height, oak paneled 2,500 volume library and the floor plan shows the layout which includes a media room with a wine cave on one side balanced by a formal dining room and kitchen on the other. Upstairs is given over to bedrooms with a master suite in a private wing that has an ample dressing room. Three other bedrooms plus a small office are located on the other side. Building amenities include a La Palestra Health Club, pool, squash court and roof terrace and there is a concierge and an elevator attendant. The apartment is listed at $6.95 million through Sotheby’s.

Kylemore Communities’ have introduced a one of a kind project in Unionville in the Angus Glen neighborhood.

These homes, which can be customized, feature up to six bedrooms, five baths, three-car garages, elevated rooflines, and intricate masonry details to create stunning streetscapes. The size of the homes planned range from 3,000 to 6,000 square feet.
According to Patrick O’Hanlon, president of Kylemore, you can customize the interiors and move walls. There are six plans for these estate homes and they are designed with really open kitchens and lots of windows to bring the outside in.
He further asserts that the price tag of $1.4 million is very reasonable and leaves the option to the buyer to upgrade the property and spend on landscaping, pools, patio and other outdoor amenities to match the existing homes. The sales are expected to close by the end of 2011.

A family shelled out $500,000 for a two-week stay at the Bridgehampton’s Sandcastle owned by builder Joe Farrell.
The ultra luxurious 11.5-acre estate features a 31,000 square-foot compound which features a two-lane bowling alley, a skateboard half-pipe, a rock climbing wall, a disco, a tennis court, theater, a children’s entertainment center, a spa facility and a heated gunite pool with an underwater stereo system.
Man-made No Man Land’s fort up for sale
