Siegelson, New York is all set to put a stunning selection of some important Art Deco Clocks dated to 1920s at this year’s Baselworld. Each of these hand crafted clocks were ahead of their times and known to being inventive freshness. The clocks that will go under the hammer include the Dodge clock from Cartier which features ebonite, diamonds, and enamel with two huge citrines on the face of the clock. Dated to the 1920s, there are only two known examples of this beautifully crafted timepiece.
Other watches include a 1929 Ostertag lapis lazuli and diamond clock that is carried on two jade and diamond elephant sculptures, a 1930 Mauboussin enamel clock set in platinum, diamonds, onyx and four rock crystals.
