London’s Goldgenie has unveiled its Superstar iPhone Range customized in solid 18ct gold, platinum and VS1 diamonds. They feature the Goldgenie London Assay Office Hallmark to assure its impeccable quality and guarantee that all materials used are genuine. There are only 250 of this edition available in platinum and diamonds and just 500 made in solid 18ct gold and diamonds.
Siegelson’ vintage Art Deco clocks
The exquisite and novel techniques have been the highlight of Baselworld with timepieces that have been introduced over several years. And this year watch lovers will have something special to bid for. Siegelson, New York is all set to put a stunning selection of some important Art Deco Clocks dated to 1920s at this year’s Baselworld. Each of these hand crafted clocks were ahead of their times and known to being inventive freshness. The clocks that will go under the hammer include the Dodge clock from Cartier which features ebonite, diamonds, and enamel with two huge citrines on the face of the clock. Dated to the 1920s, there are only two known examples of this beautifully crafted timepiece.
Other watches include a 1929 Ostertag lapis lazuli and diamond clock that is carried on two jade and diamond elephant sculptures, a 1930 Mauboussin enamel clock set in platinum, diamonds, onyx and four rock crystals.

The tourism agency of Britain is about to launch a comprehensive marketing campaign to persuade more wealthy tourists to spend their cash on luxury holidays or what they are calling Fairytale holidays. Visit Britain will promote three tiers of luxury, gold, platinum and black, to attract the estimated 10 million high net worth individuals with more than $1 million.
Britain has some of the original world renowned luxury experiences and brands. For example Claridge’s, Selfridges and St. Andrew’s are very exclusive and unique experiences that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Visit Britain said it had identified a fashion among the rich for dreamlike or fairytale holidays, and it will draw on the country’s rich history to create packages that would reveal the magical side of Britain.
For those who want to get under the skin of traditional British culture during a luxury break, there is the chance to go backstage at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London. The packages would offer an opportunity to the guests to live as a laird in a Scottish castle, blend your own bottle of malt whisky, play golf on prestigious courses and get measured for a kilt.

Sotheby’s Australia to auction a rare purplish-red Argyle diamond
Sotheby’s Australia will be auctioning a Purplish-red Argyle diamond ” on April 12 sale of antique and contemporary jewelry – which will be its first red diamond ever to be offered for public auction.
Estimated to sell between $645,065 and $921, the 0.82-carat diamond is set into a ring with sparkling blue diamonds surrounded by a round brilliant-cut diamonds encrusted in platinum.
Other rare jewels that are also up for auction include:
- A double strand of emerald beads with a diamond set that is expected to generate $9,676 to $11,519
- Two rings, one made of sapphire and diamond, estimated to sell for $23,034 to $32,248 and the other made of emerald and diamond valued between $64,497 and $82,907
- A platinum and 10.07carat heart-shaped diamond ring valued between $313,207 and $386,87
- Bejeweled Vertu mobile phone studded with fancy pink and colorless diamonds, pink sapphires and rubies in 18-carat rose gold valued between $27,633 and $46,055
The ring will come along with a letter from Argyle Diamonds as a testament to the rareness of the reds.
