DNA2Diamonds release a one-of-a-kind concept..

Diamonds created from the carbon of your deceased pets

DNA2Diamonds have created a very unique concept with which you will be able to keep that everlasting union with your loved one.

The concept offers the unique DNA carbon from a lock of hair of someone you love dearly or even that of your darling pet. Yes, you read that right. If you want to pay a tribute to your pet, which has always been an important part of your life, but is suddenly no more, DNA2Diamonds will extract the carbon from a lock of pet fur or cremated ashes and turn it into a GIA-certified diamond within 70 days!

The diamond will obviously be‚ only one of its kind‚ and can help you in a great way to keep your pet close to your heart forever. Pricing will range from $2,000 to $18,000.

A dog held for $350,000 ransom is returned back

Dog_returned_back_1.jpg
I have heard that kidnapping for ransom is big business in Andean countries but this is probably the dumbest kidnapping, of a pet, ever happened. That too ending on a much more dumber note! I wonder why such foolish folks stage such kidnapping acts in 1st place. Luckily for the dog and its owners, the whole drama unfolded with a happy note. Here’s how the whole story goes. It was reported that a four-year-old German shepherd, Aldo de Fescol, was kidnapped on September 18 from the owner’s home….(Tragic).The couple later received a call saying that Aldo would be hurt unless they paid a $350,000 ransom.

£2,500 Diamond Dog coat

A lot of well-known designers are producing expensive and exclusive dog wear for this autumn and winter. One of the biggest pet fashion shows-Pet a Porter London is all set to welcome designers Ben de Lisi, Stephen Webster, Issa and Vivienne Westwood. The British jeweler Stephen Webster, who has also designed Madonna’s wedding ring, has tailored a 500,000 personalized diamond and precious jewel collar that will be put up for sale on the night of the pet fashion show. But the costume that steals the show this time is the £2,500 ($5120) Ruff diamonds spring jacket, which is made of White diamonds and small Sapphires by Vivienne Westwood.

Most Pampered Dog spends $15,000 a month

dog-ferrari-bed.jpg
Thank god, my pet dogs cannot read and so they will never come across this bit for pampered news. Or else they’d sue me for not offering them even a fraction of all these luxurious comforts that Conchita is getting. Conchita’s owner, socialite Gail Posner, is the daughter of a billionaire businessman, spends £7,000 a month on Louis Vuitton bags, bikinis, pearls, dresses and make-up for her. She has her own special pink racing car bed, bathroom and TV, and lunches daily on fresh grilled chicken breast at the exclusive Shore Club in Miami.

At dinner time she snubs Ms Posner’s two other dogs and eats on a king’s chair in the TV room away from them. And the posh pooch refuses to go to bed until she is wearing either her blue or pink cashmere sweater. With weekly manicures, her own minder and publicist, this one-year-old 500g (1lb) Chihuahua is living the dog life equivalent of Paris Hilton’s existence.

Helicopter ride of $14k exclusively for a pet cat

Helicopter_ride.jpg It’s the end of the day and I am lost at words. Not because I have written enuf, but because I came across this unbelievable fact at Spluch. The bar of pampering pets is raised to stunning heigths. Can you believe that an Italian couple paid £7,000 ($14,000) for a private helicopter to relocate their pet cat from Rome to Sardinia. Why? Because it was afraid of planes and boats. Couldn’t they just put him/her in a pet carrier and carried on a ferry yourself? Luigi and Donna DiMichele had a different opinion when they were moving home from the Italian capital to the island of Sardinia. Their black cat Fufi had the audacity to refuse to go near any of the ferries or even planes. This pompous feline pet only seemed to be happy around helicopters.

Outward Hound Auto Window Bumper

I believe all canine breeds from mutts to purebreds deserve unique dog gifts, because your pooch is your canine baby. Average people, of course, buy their pets balls and new collars, rawhide bones and chew toys. But some folks treat their pets as good as humans or even better. So what do you think is a novelty for such a truly pampered pet? Answer – Outward Hound Auto Window Bumper! It’s actually an auto window bumper doggie chin rest. Simply adjust the window to the desired height and slide it on to the top of the window. The metal clips inside the pad hold the bumper to the window.

Ashera is a cat on leash for $22,000

Make-to-order bags, shoes, clothes, watches and jewelry…..but have you heard of specially tailored pets? Don’t mistake it for mini-leopard! It’s Ashera, a mix breed of Asian Leopard cat, African Serval and an unnamed domestic breed. I’m impressed with the fact that it features leopard-like spots and contrasting stripes and also it can weigh up to 30 pounds (14k). Lifestyle Pets claim that this cat is highly intelligent, very affectionate and has great temperaments.

R2D2 Projector has it all

r2d2_projector.jpg
A working remote control replica of R2D2 (built to 1/2 scale), with real sounds and lights from the movie, it doubles up as a projector for video and still images. It projects onto your wall up to 80 inches from corner to corner. You can play your DVD and CD via the integrated player. External devices can be hooked on via the video and audio ports. You can even project your stuff directly via the memory card (SD, MMC, Memory Stick and Smart Media) and USB flash drives. Sync it with your iPod (3rd generation and higher) as it even has a docking station hidden in a compartment in R2D2′s body. It features 20W speakers.

R2D2 is fully motorized and his remote control is a scaled replica of the Millennium Falcon. The legs can be tilted backwards to facilitate ceiling projection. The remote allows you to control all of R2D2′s movements as well as video and audio functions, and gives you full control over your iPod’s menu, which can also be projected.

Doggie Emergency Kit

dogf_irstaid_kit.jpg
Given an opportunity, pet lovers would go to great lengths to shower love and care on their pets. For one who understands the agony of these mute beings, a Doggie Emergency Kit is what we have brought today. It’s a fully equipped emergency kit from Logos. It features a one-canine tent, some wet wipes, a survival collar, a flashlight, some poop bags, and a first aid kit. US availability of this Pet product is still a mystery. Apparently only Japanese Pet lovers can take the best out of it while our US brats have to wait for sometime.
