China has lately come up with a new name for them as the super power in the world of luxury. All the surplus cash-flow invites some immoral activities too. A Chinese hunting club in Beijing has offered the trips to Africa or North America at $79,377 per person. Under this package, members can shoot down polar bears or other animals by using rifles or bows and arrows. To hunt specific animals you need to fork out more money. But that isn’t stopping these barbaric Chinese rich people, with as many as 100 bookings completed.

Established by an American of Chinese origin, you need to undergo special training to enter the club. While hunting licenses are restricted, advance booking for the Chinese is available as most of these animals are protected. As for cost of hunting, a male lion or polar bear is $50,000; a female lion is $15,000, while the rhino is most expensive at $100,000.

Maserati Kubang concept is the first to be built in North America

The 2012 North American International Auto Show is living the Maserati Kubang concept. The SUV will be manufactured at the Chrysler’s Jefferson North assembly plant and the assembly will start sometime in 2013. The engine would be a V-8 built in Maranello, Italy and the powertrain will be shipped to Michigan and fitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission that would be produced in Germany. The vehicle is global in the truest sense of the word.

According to a company spokesperson, Maserati Kubang is all set to enter production by next year, but no dates were announced. Tthe production vehicle would carry an Italian name that was “more beautiful.”

The Ypsilon will be sold as a Lancia across Europe but a Chrysler in the UK and Ireland, though no plans have yet been announced to bring it to North America.

Lamborghini has announced a new special edition of its Gallardo supercar. Called the Bicolore edition, the special Gallardo features a two-tone paint scheme with black roof and other details contrasting with the available orange, yellow, blue, silver or white body color.

The two-tone scheme is repeated inside with black leather highlighted by contrasting stitching to match the exterior color. The model is being unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show, and will be available in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region in LP 560-4 guise with 560 horsepower and all-wheel drive, and in North America as the LP 550-2 with the 550hp V10 and rear-wheel drive previously reserved for the Balboni edition.

Germany’s Extra Aircraft is best recognized in the U.S. for high-end aerobatic sport planes, but the company is trying to change that with a ramped-up effort to market its six-seat Spirit 500 turboprop in North America. The all-carbon-fiber Spirit provides executive transport with a spacious pressurized cabin, an efficient Rolls- Royce engine, low fuel burn of 19 gallons per hour, and a range of 1,600 miles. Avidyne’s latest avionics package, Entegra Release 9, is standard equipment in the cockpit. The company is working to open its new North American headquarters and assembly plant in Montrose, Colorado. The Spirit sells for $1.65 million.
