The world’s largest collector car auction house, RM Auctions will offer Steve McQueen’s iconic 1970 Porsche 911S, featured in his epic Hollywood film Le Mans, at its highly-anticipated Monterey sale in California on August 18 “” 20. Built to the highest 1970 specification, complete with air conditioning and a full complement of factory options, the slate grey 911S stars in the film’s legendary opening sequence as McQueen’s character, hotshot Porsche driver Michael Delaney, drives through the French countryside reflecting on life, death, and racing.
In addition to its starring role in the film, the Porsche 911S was used as Steve McQueen’s personal transport during the movie’s production, later joining his own stable of extraordinary motor cars in California “” a collection that over the years included everything from a Jaguar XK-SS, multiple Ferraris, Porsches, airplanes, motorcycles and everything in between. Today, the 911S is presented in exceptionally original condition.

The Malcolm Forbes Toy Collection consisted of antique toy boats, luxury ships, soldiers, motorcycles and board games. The highest bid went for a three feet long replica of the 1915 ocean liner Lusitania, which fetched $194,500. This price put it on the top slot for any toy boat till date. Malcolm Forbes had bought this boat at Sotheby’s in 1983 for $28,600. Other highlights were: an Exotic Clockwork Gunboat Attributed to M¤rklin /Rock and Graner, which went under the hammer for $134,500.
An original Monopoly game set of circular design, which was handmade by Charles Darrow, got $146,500; and two rare sets of intricately carved medieval knights made way back in the 30s that was sold for $15,000.

Kymco scooters, a company specializing in producing motorcycles from Taiwan, has helped making the many unfulfilled bling dreams come true, with their customized scooters called ŔMitch.
The scooters come encrusted with almost 100,000 Swarovski crystals. It featured on the 37th Tokyo Motorcycle Show at Tokyo Big Sight which took place from the 26th of March till the 28th, featuring some 136 exhibitors including models from all the big motorcycle manufactures like Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda etc.

Designed along smooth aerodynamic lines, this 2010 Izh-1 Motorcycle intends to become a perfect ride for congested future streets. It features a strong and massive front along with a compact rear. The bike has also been designed innovative and lighter components to keep the weight nearly half than that of conventional motorcycles. It is equipped with 505 V-twin engine and the specialty of this engine is the highly reinforced and heat resistant plastic in its molding but it is still capable of generating 140 horsepower.
