Shahid Khan’s Kismet Yacht

Built in 2007 in Germany, the yacht is on sale Moran Yacht & Ship for a staggering $112 million. The impressive vessel features a formal dining salon, disco, teak decks, jacuzzi, sauna, gym along with a 25-foot Chris Craft boat and Yamaha. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests in its six staterooms and have a 17 member crew on board.
Till it finds a suitable buyer, the ship will be available on rent at 600,000 per week for winter Caribbean cruises and $789,000 per week for summer vacations to the Mediterranean region. While the move to sell of his yacht does make us wonder if he’s that cash strung after buying an NFL team, Khan denies the news.
The Ritz Carlton Herzliya Unveils its Interior Design by Studio Gaia

The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya luxury condominium project in Israel is by architect Rani Ziss. The interior design of the new elegant seaside retreat is being created by Studio Gaia, the New York based firm of great repute. The interior design details have just been unveiled. Studio Gaia has incorporated the color palette of warm golden sands, blue sky and coastal waters of the Mediterranean.
The 12 storey property is located north of Tel Aviv. The first six floors will feature the Ritz Carlton Hotel while the top six floors will be devoted to The Residences. The luxury mixed-use property, which is scheduled to open in 2012, will consist of 110 hotel rooms and 85 residences and represents an investment of over $160 million. The vacation residences are inspired by the luxury marina lifestyle, with terraces offering sweeping views of the Mediterranean.
The design has been focused on the sea view. In fact the designers have emphasized the fact by framing the scenery. Local natural materials and artwork by acclaimed Israeli artists have been used to enhance the beauty of the seashore location.
Oprah's 55th birthday bash
Oprah Winfrey celebrated her 55th birthday bash in Barcelona, where her guests got to spend three days in Poble Espanyol, a renowned tourist attraction and were then taken on a 10-day Mediterranean cruise aboard the Norwegian Gem liner sailing to Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Malta.
The ship that carried 1,700 of her employees and their families boasts of 11 bars and lounges, 12 restaurants, pool, hot tubs, a beauty salon, spa, casino, cigar club, library and even a bowling alley.
Oprah reportedly spent $5,400 per person.
‘Superyacht Ocean Pearl’ joins the YachtPlus fleet

The Ocean Pearl superyacht launched by super-yacht company YachtPlus is the second yacht of its four yacht fleet – designed by world renowned architect Norman Foster – in La Spezia, Italy.
This 41meters super luxury yacht constitutes four decks, suites for a maximum of 12 guests and 7 crew members. Interestingly, the company is offering a 1/8th share in one of the four yachts with a buy-in fee of $2,544,530 which will give the owners 30 nights a year onboard split between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
According to John Hare, Chairman of YachtPlus, the company is delighted with the response from the owners who spent this summer on Ocean Emerald and are extremely optimistic about the future of the next three yachts that will continue to grow the YachtPlus fleet.
The third yacht of the fleet, Ocean Sapphire is due to be launched in May 2010 and the fourth, which is yet to be given a name, is scheduled to enter service at the beginning of 2011.
