They went looking for inspiration in-house for their newest timepiece. Inspired by their 2011 Dior VII Grand Bal collection of watches, they launched the new 2012 Grand Bal Resille. This timepiece is made from white or black hi-tech ceramic offering a high level of robustness. The dial is natural mother-of-pearl and quite betwitching. It is embellished with diamonds which has been intricately set to resemble a grand ball gown. While aesthetically it is very glamorous, ladies will be delighted to know that this timepiece is fitted with “Dior inverse” calibre which allows the set diamonds to reproduces the swirl of a ball gown when the dial oscillates.
Hermes Makes $1.9 Million Gold Handbags

Hermes, a brand known for its most expensive functional handbag collection, the Kelly and the Birkin, has unveiled four new designs, each priced at $1.9 Million.
The miniature totes, which are crafted from gold and studded with thousands of precious stones, double up as high jewellery. Significantly smaller than the popular leather versions, they are designed to be worn as a bracelet, with the handbag strap resting on the wrist. It took accessories designer Pierre Hardy, two years to produce the intricate creations. Each of the new designs will only be produced three times.
Louis Vuitton to divulge jewellery studio, perfume

Luxury brand Louis Vuitton is all set to use jewellery studio on Paris’ Place Vendome this spring and is preparing its first perfume. As per the label’s head Yves Carcelle, In April they will have their own jewellery workshop and in May will open their boutique in the same building
When we talk about luxury we have to take into account that one place that goes hand in hand with it is Paris. It will soon open doors for Louis Vuitton to rejoin the exclusive club of the few jewellers who have their own workshops on the Place.
As per Carcelle there was no timetable yet for the perfume launch and revelled in the fact that luxury meant not having to bow to pressure. They have recruited the famous ‘nose’, Jacques Cavallier, and they are in the final phase of buying a country house in Grasse on the French Riviera, where the perfume laboratory will be built.
The master perfumer, 49, is the “nose” behind L’Eau d’Issey, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme and Stella by Stella McCartney. The deal will make Louis Vuitton one of the few labels in the world with its own exclusive “nose”, along with Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, Hermes and Cartier. Louis Vuitton, which began making bags in 1854, branched out into ready-to-wear, shoes, watches and sunglasses in the 1990s and 2000s.
