Bugatti Galibier 16C Car & Parmigiani Bugatti Tourbillon Watch

Estimates put the upcoming Bugatti Galibier 16C ultra luxury sedan over the one million euro price point. Similar to the prices of the Bugatti Veyron 16/4. Though the Galibier will be a totally different car. As such, novelties in the car must speak to the sentiment of luxury and not just performance.
We have the Breitling for Bentley, the Panerai for Ferrari, and Jaeger-LeCoultre for Aston Martin, and of course the Parmigiani for Bugatti. Starting a few years ago the Swiss brand released the curiously designed Type 370 Bugatti watch. It was interesting and avant garde to say the least. Now the company takes things to a bit of a new level. Instead of merely making a Parmigiani watch branded with the Bugatti name, you’ll actually find a Parmigiani watch in the new Bugatti Galibier sedan.
The timepiece will be known as the Parmigiani Bugatti Tourbillon watch. A simple name for a relatively straight forward watch. Unlike the car, the watch will be a “convertible.” It is a multipurpose timepiece that can be placed on various modules. Like a car stereo from 1989, you’ll want to take this item out of the car after you’ve parked “” and on to your wrist or in your pocket. The watch case moves from the car dashboard or instrument panel to either your wrist, a pocket watch case, or a desk clock module. Little is known thus far about the little details which are important in the watch, but what is clear is the basic design “” which is surprisingly simple.
€6.8 Million Cessna CJ4 Prepares for Takeoff

Kansas is finally set to begin deliveries of its long-awaited $6.8 Million Citation CJ4 light business jet later this year. Its two foot gain in cabin length over the CJ3 may not sound like much of an improvement space-wise for the eight-seater, but on the performance front the CJ4 aims to put its predecessor “” and the competition “” to shame. Electronically-controlled twin Williams-Rolls FJ44-4A turbofans with FADEC allow for a maximum cruising speed of 806 km/h at 35,000 ft. and are quiet and fuel efficient. New swept-back wings borrowed from the Cessna’s Sovereign help out on aerodynamics for short takeoffs, quick climbs and improved acceleration.
Boasting Cessna’s most stylishly decorated and ergonomically designed cabin ever, plush new “luxury sedan” style seats and a new sidewall configuration provide more leg, seat and shoulder room while the entry door is wider making for more comfortable access. It’s also outfitted like a high-end media room thanks to its revolutionary Venue Cabin Management System (CMS) with amenities such as XM radio, CD and hi-def Blu-Ray DVD player, seat monitors, moving maps and input stations for MP3 players, gaming systems and more.

Fenice Gold Ghost

Ultra-luxury sedans go, a Rolls-Royce pretty much tops out the ostentation scale. That still leaves some folks craving an extra helping of bling to make sure the message gets across loud and clear: “I’m richer than youse.” Enter operatic Italian exotic tuner Fenice Milano and its new aptly-named Diva program for the Rolls-Royce Ghost, which involves an inordinate amount of gold plate. There are three versions of the firm’s ghastly Ghost: dark blue, bronze and white, all trimmed in 24K gold with the latter also amped up with gold particles in the paint.
The inside gets new beige leather upholstery, teak and oak woodwork, Alcantara inserts and of course more 24K gold “hand shaped by Felice Milano’s artisans”. The new wheel combines the leather, wood and gold accents in one graspable package. The signature Rolls-Royce picnic trays and integrated minibar with glass holders have also been redone in, you guessed it, 24K gold.
Road Trip to Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance features some of the rarest classics, some of the most innovative concepts, and attracts an extremely high caliber of spectators, automotive, and racing fans. Automotive week certainly appeals to an international crowd, for those of us who just so happen to be road warrior Westerners, a Big Sur road trip will trump a standard commuter flight nine times out of 10.
According to our voice-activated navigation system, we had approximately 450 miles to cover before arriving at 17-Mile Drive. With about eight hours ahead of us, we were anxious to see just how far one tank of gas would get us in a hybrid that claims to be the “most fuel-efficient luxury sedan in America. With an estimated 41 mpg in the city, the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid could potentially deliver a driving range of up to 717.5 miles on just one tank of regular unleaded. Determined to make it all the way up the 101 without fueling up, we set out to put the vehicle’s true highway fuel economy to the test.
The innovative technology provides real-time information, including fuel economy history, odometer, engine coolant temperature, plus trip data, including fuel economy, time-elapsed fuel economy and miles to empty.

Mercedes-Benz covets to Take on Bentley Continental GT

Mercedes-Benz is currently studying a new model, a high-performance four-door that would be situated above the CLS and will take on the popular Bentley Continental GT. The model will feature a more dramatic design.
Moreover, the car will also feature an impressive chassis, to deliver the best performances in order to justify its considerably higher price. The model will be like a larger brother for the stylish CL Coupe according to Autocar and Mercedes-Benz expects the new car to be a real success in markets such as Russia and Middle East.
Mercedes-Benz is also considering a Maybach version of the upcoming vehicle, due to the interest shown by the public for the impressive Xenatec 57S Coupe based on the Maybach luxury sedan.
Although there are no details regarding the engine which will power the new vehicle, we do admit that the all-new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo found on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is a strong possibility. On the CLS 63, this engine delivers 518 hp and can push the car from 0 to 96 km/h (60 mph) in just 44.
