The very famous fashion Louis Vuitton brand has lately stirred up quite a fashion revolution at the Paris Fashion Week with the Louis Vuitton train, reviving the repertoire of the luggage business from where it had its humble beginnings. The Louis Vuitton Express was set in a life-size facsimile of a train station that featured ornately arching ironwork and a giant station clock. The one carriage train liveried in navy and gold elegantly emerged from the background and pulled into the station. A navy of poised all-female cast of travelers descended from the station one by one, each of them accompanied by a uniformed, white-gloved porter carrying her handbag and luggage.

The entire collection has a huge variety of luggage and fashion intertwined in every aspect of the collection taking into consideration what a lady traveler would carry for a bag, what she would wear and where she would go. The cloths in the collection used the chequerboard “damier” pattern which was previously used on LV suitcases. The entire collection elements such as the hats, silhouettes and high waist resonated with the 1960’s and 1970’s aura. Model Kel Markey claims that the train had beautiful interiors and cost a whopping $8 million, although LV declined to comment on it.

Louis Vuitton Polo Bike

Louis Vuitton Polo Bike

Louis Vuitton is one name which goes hand in hand with luxury. Any new product under this brand name has to make news and especially when it is different in many respects than the regular range of purses and apparels.

The contrary being the fact that bike polo is not a very common sport in today’s time. The players at least know how to stay stylish while modernizing the age old game. It directly mimics the traditional game of polo except it is played on a hardcourt instead of grass and on bicycles instead of horses.

According to sources, this elegantly appointed polo bike was created by both Louis Vuitton and revered polo bike players Hengst and Barbier. It comes equipped with all the bells and whistles; so to speak, including etched bar plugs, fully wrapped shaft and embossed leather pedal straps.

And let it be known that this is not just a preexisting polo bike that Louis Vuitton decided to add its luxe touch to it is an actual product made by the French company. There is no word yet on how much one of these will cost you, but indeed it will be a higher price point than just any old polo bike on the market.

As per Carcelle there was no timetable yet for the perfume launch and revelled in the fact that luxury meant not having to bow to pressure. They have recruited the famous ‘nose’, Jacques Cavallier, and they are in the final phase of buying a country house in Grasse on the French Riviera, where the perfume laboratory will be built.

The master perfumer, 49, is the “nose” behind L’Eau d’Issey, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme and Stella by Stella McCartney. The deal will make Louis Vuitton one of the few labels in the world with its own exclusive “nose”, along with Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, Hermes and Cartier. Louis Vuitton, which began making bags in 1854, branched out into ready-to-wear, shoes, watches and sunglasses in the 1990s and 2000s.
