When we talk about luxury we have to take into account that one place that goes hand in hand with it is Paris. It will soon open doors for Louis Vuitton to rejoin the exclusive club of the few jewellers who have their own workshops on the Place.

As per Carcelle there was no timetable yet for the perfume launch and revelled in the fact that luxury meant not having to bow to pressure. They have recruited the famous ‘nose’, Jacques Cavallier, and they are in the final phase of buying a country house in Grasse on the French Riviera, where the perfume laboratory will be built.

The master perfumer, 49, is the “nose” behind L’Eau d’Issey, Dior Addict, Poeme by Lancôme and Stella by Stella McCartney. The deal will make Louis Vuitton one of the few labels in the world with its own exclusive “nose”, along with Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, Hermes and Cartier. Louis Vuitton, which began making bags in 1854, branched out into ready-to-wear, shoes, watches and sunglasses in the 1990s and 2000s.

Louis Vuitton shoes for US $2,200

Spicy 1.jpg

All the gals who love Louis Vuitton shoes must have heard of their new home made creation. Meet the “Spicy sandals’ that have gotten all the celebrities dying to try them out, from Madonna to Heidi Klum and of course Victoria Beckham can’t be forgotten when it comes to fashion.

The feathery shoes with colorful beads all over it do look a bit weird but when Hollywood stars are just rushing to buy them maybe we should just try them out. But that’s only if you can afford shelling out 2K on this fancy pair. Stars have and will always seek to wear items that are not found on the shelves of uptown stores and, in this sense; the Louis Vuitton Spicy Sandals are just the thing to achieve that.

Of course, since regular women are perhaps not in a position to throw away that much money on a single pair of shoes, cheaper variants are also possible. Stylists targeting the regular lady recommend buying a pair of more fancy-looking sandals and then adding all that extra bling at home.

A $4.2m tiara for a pet dog

dog tiara.jpg

The United States saw a huge boost in pet accessories when Paris Hilton began collecting and dressing small dogs. Suddenly, everyone wanted a tiny dog and clothing for it to wear. Designer brands like Louis Vuitton, Juicy Couture, and Christian Audigier jumped on the dog accessory bandwagon. But Thai jewelry designer Riwin Jirapolsek goes a mile further or maybe more than that. Over two months, he designed a $4.2 million tiara for his 15 year-old male Maltese using precious stones given to him by his mother.

The piece, created with titanium and encrusted with 250 carats worth of diamonds and emeralds, was featured at a dog-clothing runway show in Bangkok. While he says he has no plans to sell the tiara, he is planning on designing more jewelry for the dog. He told Reuters, “I will make a hair clip next time because my dog has to wear clips every day. Otherwise, his fur will block his view.” Clothing for pooches is nothing new but the tiara has definitely raised the bar. Some people can do just anything for their pet.
