Selfridges to commemorate its 100th anniversary through BlackBerry Bold
BlackBerry-maker RIM has been commissioned to create an exclusive, limited edition yellow BlackBerry Bold in order to celebrate the 100th birthday of Selfridges departmental store. There will be limited edition of Blackberry Bold devices and they will feature a leather back plate and redesigned number keys on the front. In addition to that, all the handset will come with exclusive VIP support. There are many other brands as well which have collaborated with Selfridges to celebrate the centenary, including Jimmy Choo, Lulu Guinness, Mulberry, Paul Smith, Levi’s, Ralph Lauren, Smythson, Marc Jacobs and Giles Deacon. The phone will come for $1,450.
Liverpool club launches gold and diamond mobile phone
Liverpool football club has launched this 18-carat gold handset to celebrate the club’s glorious history. Designed by Galentia and the club with the aim of honoring their proud history and heroes past and present, the phone features a sapphire crystal screen on the bottom and engraved is the Liverpool logo, which further is studded with 18 diamonds marking the number of the club’s league title victories. It is available in a limited edition of 250 and each phone comes encased in a North African black walnut box, lined with red velvet. The bespoke box inclusive of the phone and medallion comes for $21,075.

Limited edition Compactdecks turntable deck launched
The Compactdecks is a design for turntable deck and it features three integrated turntables to play loop or regular vinyl records. It turns out to be a treat for audiophiles who fancy vinyal as a music source. There is also a two-way speaker system and the compactdecks is limited to 10 units. It has been produced by the artist and designer Oliver Rubli for Compactlab in Geneva.
Prince Opus iPod touch is insanely expensive
The limited edition Prince Opus iPod touch which comes for $2,100 is not being regarded worth the price, until and unless you are a hardcore fan of the artist Prince. It’s only highlight is its dark purple finish and the Prince Opus iPod comes loaded with a mere 15 songs and an exclusive 40-minute video made by Prince of his 21 Nights at the O2 arena. It features a live soundtrack from Indigo Nights is also pre-loaded onto the iPod. There are just 950 units of the iPod available, with each carrying Prince’s symbol on the back.
