Gold- plated eL Masterpiece Chandelier
Daniel Libeskind, New York’s well-known architect has created the limited-edition eL Masterpiece chandelier in association with the Austrian lighting company Zumtobel. The stupendous 350 pound chandelier is roughly nine feet tall and two-and-a-half feet wide. An incandescent, cutting-edged, curiously shaped chandelier, the eL Masterpiece has a highly-polished stainless steel exterior and a stainless-and-23-carat-gold-plated-leaf interior. Its beauty lies in the seven color scenarios, for which 1,680 specially designed LED modules have been used.
Set it up wirelessly via a special iPas app that activates individual built-in mechanisms attached to each module. The magnanimous idea behind the various color scenarios is to portray the cosmic light that fills the universe. Behind this cosmic idea, there is some science involved as well which was derived from a complex algorithm developed by astrophysicist Dr. Noam Libeskind, (son of Daniel) from the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam. State-of-the-art simulations were run by Dr. Libeskind and that’s the story behind one billion years being compressed into a single second so that eL Masterpiece lights up this history of the cosmos in 14 seconds.
Project X’s New British Military “Stealth” Rolexes
The London-based Rolex customizer, Project X Designs whose fans include “James Bond” star Daniel Craig, has come out with three new military-inspired “stealth” designs based on the classic Rolex Submariner and Rolex Explorer.
The two Rolex Submariner models in the series are the Mk III and Mk IV, one designed for daylight operations and the other more suited to night maneuvers. The Mk III pays homage to the Submariner worn by Sean Connery as 007 in the 1950s Bond movies; the Bond character was originally a former SBS commando. It features an anti-reflective satin case finish, blacked-out bezel and Stealth inscribed dial. Presented on an olive green G10 NATO strap, it’s available exclusively via the Project X website for about $14,000. The Stealth Mk IV has a darker, tougher look with a matte black carbon-coated case and blacked-out ceramic bezel. It too comes on a Nato strap and is priced at about $16,000.
The third model in the series is the Rolex Explorer-based Stealth Mk V. Created as a subtle and sophisticated contrast to the Submariner models; the case is satin finished before being treated with a hard-wearing black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. Issued on a back G10 NATO strap with black hardware, it also comes with a blacked-out steel bracelet and is priced at about $13,000. The Limited Edition customizations of original Rolex watches created by Project X Designs afford watch collectors.
Hennessy X.O Limited Edition, Odyssey to be Launched Soon

The Ferrari Paddock Chronograph

The unique Swiss-made watch by Ferrari is the classic color combination of silver and brown. The Paddock Chronograph is a limited edition of 299 pieces and is now available exclusively for Ferrari online customers.
The male chronograph watch is 10ATM water resistant, has a quartz movement (Cal. Ronda 5050.C.) and a 42mm (diameter) mat-polished stainless steel case with a shiny stainless steel bezel and a screw down crown and push-buttons. The flat hardened mineral crystal is treated with an anti-glare coating while the chocolate brown leather strap has contrasting silver stitching and a steel butterfly buckle with two pushers. The case back carries the iconic Ferrari Shield as well as an individual Limited Edition number engraved on it.
The Ferrari Paddock Chronograph watch also comes in a black/silver combination in a green box, also in a limited edition of 299 that is packaged with a paper weight made in the Ferrari logo shape with a steel titan color finish.
The retail price for each of the limited edition Paddock Chronograph watches is $966.
