Kraft Foods Exclusive iPad App Big Fork

Kraft Foods Exclusive iPad App Big Fork

Kraft Foods has developed an exclusive application for iPads, titled as Big Fork Little Fork. MSN.com’s lifestyle news site Glo had termed it as the “must have’ app of 2010.  Similarly, the popular family/parenting site Babble categorized it as “best pick’ among cooking tools for kids. The access to this great resource is free and can be downloaded exclusively on an iPad till the midnight of December 31, 2010.

The app has 300 delicious recipes which have been tested by the experts in Kraft Kitchens. The app also includes two educational games to entertain and teach math skills to children. Food Guide Space Picnic based on the USDA’s food pyramid is one and a Deli Shop game exploring measurement of ingredients is the other which is fun but educative. There are several videos in the app that instruct the kids on how to work in the kitchen safely and efficiently.

The app has some interesting ideas for kids like using lemon juice to make invisible ink. It has some very well researched articles on nutrition, healthy habits and kitchen skills.

Reevu helmet launched with integrated rear-view system

Reevu helmet with integrated rear-view system gives a cool reason to wear one

While a rear-view helmet might sound like a technology developed for marines in combat zones, our over congested roads are no better than the war zones where bikers are the most vulnerable. However, Reevu’s MSX1 helmet with an integrated rear-view mirror system will be a lifesaver for everyday commuters and probably for professional racers. To make this all possible, Reevu’s MSX1 helmet relies on an entirely mechanical mechanism rather than rear-view cameras. The innovative technology that took 10 years in development has a built-in 180 degree unbreakable rear-view mirror system that allows the rider to see the road behind, thereby improving the situational awareness. It would be obvious to think that the improved technology would come with added weight, but the Reevu MSX1 helmet is nicely balanced along with the availability of a custom-fit helmet to the owner’s head.

Roman Abramovich buys Dom Perignon worth $75,000?

Roman Abramovich has been in a habit of making headlines for his extravagant lifestyle in the luxury world. If we start discussing people who spend outrageously, his name will come on the top of the list. Recently, some reports claimed that a Russian set a record for a wine sale when he spent $75,000 including a $15,000 tip, on a bottle of Dom Perignon in a London bar. This again pointed towards Abramovich. Though it is just considered to be a rumor as the name of the person has not been announced as yet, going by his previous stints, there is little doubt that the was Abramovich himself.
