The auctioneer is handling the sale of royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton’s childhood home, where she spent the first 13 years of her life. The four-bedroom Victorian house in the village of Southend Bradfield, 48 miles west of London, will be sold on June 3, about a month after the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which takes place on Friday, April 29 at Westminster Abbey.

The Victorian house, called West View, was bought by Michael and Carole Middleton in 1979, and future princess Kate Middleton, now 29, lived in the house after her birth in 1982 until 1995.

There’s also a chance that someone could look to buy it as a holiday let, but if it sells to someone who just wants it as their home.

The Victorian house is around 3 miles to Bucklebury on the famous Avenue of Oaks. Also nearby are Bradfield Sports Complex and 9-hole golf course. It has an entrance hall with Victorian tiled floor, two reception rooms, kitchen, family room, utility room/cloakroom and four bedrooms.

The latest on this front is a new iPad app that promises to keep users abreast of developments pertaining to this royal affair.  The new app is promising complete coverage of the Prince William-Kate Middleton wedding. Developed by online magazine 2 for Couples in collaboration with commemorative china firm Waterford and Wedgewood, it has been described as an “entertaining and info-packed app” by the magazine’s editor-in-chief Neil Morton.

There is going to be full coverage of everything leading up to the wedding, from the engagement onwards. You can look forward to plenty of photos and articles, courtesy the Press Association. The latter is the national news agency of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and usually the first to report news from the royal family. A visit to Australia after the nuptials by the royal couple is a strong possibility. Luxury travel company, Abercrombie & Kent has put together a suggested ultimate, no-expenses spared, luxury honeymoon that showcases the very best of Australia. The 21-day Right Royal Australian Honeymoon would cost nearly Australian $170,000.

The honeymoon plan is designed in such a way as to combine adventure, culture and relaxation. It has hot air ballooning, wildlife safari, reef fishing and a romantic dinner on a private cliff. The accommodations provided through the tour are the country’s most luxurious and interesting, including safari style bush luxury bungalows, Southern Ocean Lodge in Osprey Pavilion and the city hotels like Four Seasons and Park Hyatt.

The activities planned for the new couple are also unique and interesting and takes care of myriad interests.
