Project X’s New British Military “Stealth” Rolexes

The London-based Rolex customizer, Project X Designs whose fans include “James Bond” star Daniel Craig, has come out with three new military-inspired “stealth” designs based on the classic Rolex Submariner and Rolex Explorer.
The two Rolex Submariner models in the series are the Mk III and Mk IV, one designed for daylight operations and the other more suited to night maneuvers. The Mk III pays homage to the Submariner worn by Sean Connery as 007 in the 1950s Bond movies; the Bond character was originally a former SBS commando. It features an anti-reflective satin case finish, blacked-out bezel and Stealth inscribed dial. Presented on an olive green G10 NATO strap, it’s available exclusively via the Project X website for about $14,000. The Stealth Mk IV has a darker, tougher look with a matte black carbon-coated case and blacked-out ceramic bezel. It too comes on a Nato strap and is priced at about $16,000.
The third model in the series is the Rolex Explorer-based Stealth Mk V. Created as a subtle and sophisticated contrast to the Submariner models; the case is satin finished before being treated with a hard-wearing black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. Issued on a back G10 NATO strap with black hardware, it also comes with a blacked-out steel bracelet and is priced at about $13,000. The Limited Edition customizations of original Rolex watches created by Project X Designs afford watch collectors.

Rare Rolex Worn by Rare James Bond in Miami

Rolex and James Bond have equally strong, hardcore fan following. Well there is good news for them. An actual Rolex chronograph worn by the famed secret agent in one of the movies is being offered for sale in Miami. The watch in question is really exclusive because there are a lot of aspects about the watch that is rare.
First of all it is not one of the popular models which have featured in several of the Bond movies. Second, it was worn by one of the less popular Bond, George Lazenby, who starred in only one Bond movie.
The Rolex was worn by George Lazenby in 1969s On Her Majestys Secret Service. The Rolex was originally purchased by Bond filmmakers EON productions on October 23, 1968, and was later sold off among other props from the film.
The watch has changed hands sometimes and had last surfaced at Christies Film and Entertainment sale in London in 2003, where it went for $40,000. It was recently acquired by Miamis Matthew Bain Inc.

Scroll in Antique Look Wrist Watch

The scroll seems to have been miniaturized in a very modern way yet the look is very antique, very old and very royal. The look and get up is inspired by a wrist watch with a strap to boot. Like someone commented that it looks like a contraption developed for James Bond. A scroll miniaturized, and you start thinking how it can be used in the contemporary world.
Very useful for the politicians and leaders who use the teleprompter expertly to sound like know all savior of the world. Just a glance at the scroll as if they are checking the time and they can keep the flow going. They have an image to protect and this could just be another tool.
The other use could be in the automotive field. The direction to a destination could be printed and fit in to the scroll so that you do not miss a crucial turn or an important land mark. You can keep thinking about more useful applications but I know if people actually start using it someone will come up with a digital version with enormous capacity and many options but I can tell you one thing that the fun will go out of the product.
