Legendary Auto Union D-type racer for sale!

Legendary Auto Union D-type racer up for auction

In the upcoming sale of Exceptional Motorcars and Memorabilia on August 14 by Bonhams, the 1939 Auto Union D-type car is being offered for sale! The iconic Grand Prix racing car is also one of the rarest vintage cars in the world.

What I found to be the best thing about the legendary car is not its specifications but the fact that it was one of Hitler’s favorites. And also the fact that it is one of the only three that ever existed and was driven by the Fƒ¼hrer’s friend Hans Stuck in the 1939 Grand Prix racing season.
