When gold is running on the road, it never fails to grab our attention even if it rolls out in China. We all have witnessed gold-plated Dartz and gold-wrapped Infiniti G-37 make a statement on the streets of China. And we have also spotted many Porsches in gilded skin. But this is the first time we came across a bold gold Porsche 911 Carrera 4S in China. Montblanc’s Tribute to Queen Elizabeth I
Montblanc is all set to come up with Patron of Art Edition celebrating the legendary Queen Elizabeth I’s royal stature. Queen Elizabeth I built up 16th century England into a world power and her legacy is celebrated with two fountain pens the “Limited Edition Patron of Art Elizabeth I” is limited to 4810 fountain pens and a finer edition is limited to 888 writing instruments.
Both pens are sheltered in lacquer modeled on the monarch’s royal garments. The Tudor rose and the cross of the British Crown are also featured on the cap and the clip is topped with a synthetic green garnet cabochon. The words “Video et taceo” are engraved on the cap ring.
The 4810 fountain pens have a body and cap of black precious resin with gold-plated inlay. The Elizabeth I Limited Edition 888 is a 750 solid gold fountain pen with a red lacquered barrel and cap. The 18K gold nib features a bejeweled gold crown in which Elizabeth I ascended the throne in 1559.

Not surprisingly, this luxury phone has gold plated edges and features a 3 inch touchscreen display, 2G-only connectivity, GPS and a 3MP camera.
Priced at $832, Pantech Sky Dupont IM-U510L derives inspiration from Dupont’s famous lighter design. It has a push-up button that activates the phone with the same sort of muted click that can be heard when opening a lighter.
