French Company Chirita has unveiled the Louis XVI computer taking the concept of luxury to an all new level.
Made from brass, bronze, alabaster, malachite and lapis lazuli, the Louis XVI computer has metal parts covered with gold leaf and you can also get your custom made Louis XVI computer festooned with gold and pearls.
The Classic range retails for $17,800 and includes the Louis V, Louis XVI, and Empire models. What I found particularly interesting however, is how the CPU has been discreetly accommodated in the display itself.
Biggest auction of Michael Jackson’s property in June

Michael Jackson’s lavish furniture from his 32-bedroom London mansion will be up for auction in Las Vegas on June 25.
The collection includes around 22 piece of custom made furniture – a pair of red velvet armchairs embroidered with eagles (estimated at $57,000-$60,000), a parcel gilt ebonized wood writing desk with mother of pearl inlay, and French gold bathed brass elements, finished with an antiqued patina finƒsh (eimated at $120,000) and a wooden-carved, red velvet sofa with 24-carat gold leaf that seats 9 estimated at $150,000 ” all of which have been made by Colombostile Artisans.
Apart from furniture, the other items that will also be auctioned include the signed jacket he wore for his hit ŔBeat It, the iconic jeweled Swarovski crystal glove (estimated at $30,000), and sunglasses ($3000).
‚ The auction will also feature an exhibition recreating Michael Jackson’s Kent home at Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons in Ireland from March 16-May 30.

The most striking feature of the Ducati Monster 1100 is the colorful tattoo-inspired design – airbrush and vinyl – that takes its inspiration from Christian Audigier’s high end lifestyle. Even the gas tank boasts of Å”fish scale look, owing to a detailed gold leaf that has been beautifully laid and brushed into it.
According to Michael Lock, CEO of Ducati North America, the Monster platform has been used extensively as a platform for personalization so naturally Ducati was excited to see what a fashion icon like Christian Audigier could do with the bike.
