ConverTTable converts a coffee table

The living room coffee table of your house is an important piece of furniture. The new ConverTTable, is one such furniture that is designed to be more that an ordinary centerpiece. This cleverly designed coffee table conveniently transforms into a racing cockpit complete with pedals and adjustable wheels. It was developed over a period of two years with the help of industrial designer Michael Hirschmann. In addition, it also makes use of the existing flat screen TV, sound systems and is equipped with its own set of gaming console. The production model is priced at $7,000 and it is definitely every nerd’s dream come true.

The latest commissioned piece from Louis Vuitton’s is the Å”Breakfast in the Desert trunk. It allows complete entertainment on the move. According to LV’s Patrick-Louis Vuitton, the Chinese client wanted to be able to watch television and offer coffee to his friends wherever he traveled in the world, including the remotest desert. The “Breakfast in the Desert” trunk features two solar panels linked to a battery for the flat-screen TV and DVD player, two-way radio, tuner and coffee machine.‚ It took LV a year and tens of thousands of dollars to complete this red trunk in Damier canvas.
