If sources are to be believed, Kim Kardashian showed her loyalty to designer Rachel Roy by attending her Spring 2012 runway show. Kim arrived in Rachel Roy’s draped back design that was sophisticated styled with Christian Louboutin suede platforms, an YSL satin clutch and statement making necklace.
Bvlgari boosts Louis Vuitton sales

LVMH Moet Hennesy has reportedly picked up Bvlgari for a whopping $5.2 billion and soon after the arrangement; cash registers seem to be ringing quite loudly for the luxury giants. Their third quarter revenue for 2011 was declared at $22.3 billion, a 15 percent hike as compared to 2010.
With the latest tie up with Bvlgari, the revenue for Watches and Jewelry came in at $1.7 million, but the pick of the lot is the Fashion and Leather Goods sales that amassed a massive $8.6 million dollars. The Watches and Jewelry however showed the best growth figures as sales more than doubled.
A handbag with an integrated TV

The latest BagTV as the name suggests is a handbag that features a 7-inch TV and DVD player. A strange combination of fashion and gadgets this bag is definitely going to attract stares.
This ladies’ handbag boasts a TV screen placed behind a protective transparent shield and can play videos, music and images from an attached multimedia player. It can be hooked up to computers or digital cameras through a USB port and SD card slot. The rechargeable battery allows 2.5 hours of continuous entertainment.
New York The Magnum Edition

New York The Magnum Edition, published by Gloria, this giant of a book, weighing in at 12Kg is book as architecture: it comes with its own base and skeletal frame. 1500 images, 756 pages, and features the most iconic images of New York by some of the most respected photographers of our times – including 28 Magnum photographers. The editon includes a silver gelatin print by Leonard Freed. There are only 25 of prints available worldwide.

New Fragrance by Diane von Furstenberg
America’s first lady in fashion had inked a deal with small cosmetics firm ID Beauty last year, which will license the fragrance as well as a beauty line and skincare.
Designer Diane von Furstenberg”s first perfume will become available in October, Women’s Wear Daily reports.
Not much is known of the scent other than its launch date, but fans hope it will be just as easily wearable as von Furstenberg’s first and so far only fragrance, Tatiana.
Elizabeth Taylor jewellery, art and fashion collection to be auctioned

Christie’s will be selling the historic collection of Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor’s personal possessions will be auctioned off in a series, the details and timings of which will be announced at a later date.
Stephen Lash, chairman emeritus of Christie’s Americas, and Marc Porter, chairman of Christie’s Americas, worked with Taylor. Over the past two decades, and are most honored to have been entrusted with the collection of this world-renowned film legend, humanitarian and taste maker
Taylor, who was well-known for her beauty, love of diamonds and fashion, eight marriages and work as an AIDS activist.
America’s first International Luxury Fair

Modeled on the lines of the Moscow’s famous the millionaires’ fair for the lovers of opulence, Sao Paulo in Brazil will be the face of the new luxury revolution in South America, with the first of its kind international luxury fair. To be held between November 23 and 25, this year, the event goes to show the growing economic power of the region.
The Expo Luxo as it is termed will put on display variety of latest products like luxury cars, yachts, private jets, helicopters, jewelry, watches, fashion, electronics and technology, home decor, cosmetics, real estate, spirits, gourmet goods and artwork, alongside premium services like architecture, interior design, landscaping, concierge services, private chefs and more. The event will also see exhibitions, conferences, seminars, concerts and several presentations making the event for the 35,000 plus audience interactive.
Art, Style & Culture: Paris Between the Wars

Paris Between the Wars, 1919-1939: Art, Life & Culture by Vincent Bouvet and Grard Durozoi from The Vendome Press explores the myriad cultural forces which collided in the City of Light during the two decades between World Wars I and II. Brit Insurance Design Awards

The world’s most intriguing offerings are in seven categories: architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics, interactive, product and transport. Items from the shortlist for this year’s Brit Insurance Design Awards are on display in an exhibition at the Design Museum in London and include everything from Swarovski chandeliers to the popular Angry Birds game. Shown above is a new chair design called ‘Spun’ by Thomas Heatherwick. The overall winner will be chosen on March 15 but the exhibit runs until August.
‘Mimosa’ is made of slim OLED panels arranged in petal configurations. The piece from Jason Bruges Studio was designed to demonstrate the potential of Philips Lumiblade OLED technology, mimicking the way the Mimosa family of plants shy away when touched. The panels react both mechanically and electronically to gestures over the surface by opening and closing while waves of light flow across the super slim OLEDs.
The YikeBike is a super light electric folding bicycle which is available for purchase starting at $3,595.
Plumen, a designer low energy light bulb that we first saw last year is also one of the nominees.
