Dunhill Black Diamond Classic Watch
Dunhill is back with a bang and adding the right amount of luxury at that too. While most men prefer designer watches with style, diamonds are something they want to avoid. But the new Dunhill Black Diamond Classic wristwatch, is another ball game altogether. To begin with, it comes with a crushed black diamond covered 38mm dial face. Working on the ultra-slim Grand Master automatic movement by Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 89, the matt shine watch features a matte black alligator leather strap.
Dunhill Carbon Fiber Games Compendium
Dunhill has come out with the ultimate gentleman sports car enthusiast’s accessory, a carbon fiber games compendium for $4,000. A masterpiece of understated, elegant design, at first glance it’s merely a sleek black box made of carbon fiber, resembling a type used in the latest supercars. The compendium is handmade by expert artisans exclusively for Alfred Dunhill and is inspired by some of the finest pieces in the firm’s archive, originally made of saddle leather. Inside the box you’ll find all the requisites for playing two traditional and well loved games: chess and backgammon. A folding two-sided playing board is also finished in carbon fiber, with stainless steel playing surfaces.
Dunhill London Unveils Artistic Web and iPad App
The next thing that would strike anyone after coming across Dunhill is extreme luxury. This time around, the company has launched the Day 8, which is an online platform and interface which will showcase some amazing and inspiring content that the web has to offer.
The entire world of images, articles and films seen through the eyes of Dunhill constitute the brand name. As part of the launch of this unique online interface, they also have unveiled a behind the scenes short movie of the Dunhill “Homes’. It has been illustrated by Chris Dent. The drawings are included in a short movie, which is rather inspiring.
The four Homes of Alfred Dunhill, in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai & Tokyo can also be seen all thanks to the vivid illustrations and drawings used by Chris Dent. Perhaps, the new app and web interface will soon be the place to be seen if you are a budding artist who caters to the luxury market.
Christie's to auction vintage Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Dunhill luggage
Come May 19th, Christie’s London South Kensington branch will be auctioning a remarkable selection of vintage Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Dunhill luggage.
According to Christie’s’ Director of Textiles, Pat Frost, harking back to a golden age of travel, vintage luggage encapsulates the glamor and decadence of a bygone era when journeying to a foreign land involved adventure, romance and style, these exquisitely crafted pieces evoke a time when the journey was as important as the destination.
Christies to auction vintage yet sophisticated luggage
Come May 19, Christie’s will be auctioning very stylish vintage suitcases and hold alls including a black leather semi-circular Dunhill case (estimated at $1,150 to $1,450), two lovely canvas and leather cream Hermes suitcases (pictured and estimated at $2000 to $3000) and sophisticated Louis Vuitton monogrammed suitcases (estimated $900 to $1150).
$50000 for Dunhill Gentleman’s Games Chest
Dunhill has produced an exquisite game set ” the Gentleman’s Games Chest, also dubbed as the Shagreen Games Compendium.
Handmade, this Shagreen Games Compendium features cedar wood and ebony with stainless steel hardware.‚ Combining shagreen-embellished chess, backgammon and noughts & crosses boards, each piece has been handcrafted and finished with a high-grade sterling silver.
