Donald Trump gets a Custom Gold Bike
Paul Teutul Sr and his team presented the bike to Trump on “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior” that airs on Discovery channel. The folks from Orange County Choppers were very pleased to be gifting the bike to Trump and confessed that it was one of the best pieces that they’ve done at Orange County Choppers so far. The custom bike required a lot of hard work and time from the team to look in to aspects like design, intricate details and making it a custom fit for Donald Trump’s personality. Trump was equally impressed with the job that the team had done and he loved the fact that it was 100 per cent American made. Senior also happens to be one of the contestants on the current season of “The Celebrity Apprentice” and he and Trump had stuck up quite a good friendship during the show.
The Latest in Panamanian Luxury
The Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower is the handiwork of showman, TV star, and real estate developer Donald Trump, and when it opens this spring, the new 70-storey high rise will be the first international venture for the Trump Hotel Collection and the largest hotel ever built in Latin America. Besides 369 condo hotel rooms, similar to the rooms comprising the flagship Trump International Hotel in New York City, this $400 million project includes an additional 630 purely residential condominiums.
The bridge between North and South America has been booming as of late, and this project is positioned to take advantage of that interest, both for leisure and business buyers. The Ocean Club is located in the exclusive Punta Pacifica area of Panama City, overlooking Panama Bay, a central location just ten minutes from the International Banking center, three minutes from world class shopping and nightlife, two minutes from the new Punta Pacifica Hospital, and fifteen minutes from the airport, which in turn is just two and a half hours from Miami or five and half from New York City.
Donald Trump procure Paul Allen’s Boeing 757
The American business magnate Donald Trump has confirmed that he has purchased new Boeing 757 from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen for about $100 million. His new soaring acquisition is touted to be almost double the size of his current Boeing 727 jet. Though he hasn’t revealed much about his new air-vehicle, it is known that the 757 will commence service in a month’s time. Trump also justifies his extravagant purchase by saying that it is one of the quietest airplanes and will benefit the residents of Palm Beach. It is also reported that Trump might still keep the 727, which has gold-plated sinks, two conference tables, a master bedroom and seating for 24 passengers.
Trump Bids on Patricia Kluge’s Virginia Estate
The latest wrinkle in Patricia Kluge’s dispursal of fortune involves another famed billionaire: Donald Trump. This Wednesday, Trump had two lawyers representing him at the auction of Albemarle House, Kluge’s luxe estate on 300 acres in tony Albemarle County, Va. Shortly before the auction began, Steve Blaine and Les Goldman announced to the crowd of approximately 60 gathered in front of the Albemarle County Courthouse that they represented Donald Trump. What others might not have realized is that Trump had already purchased the adjacent 200 acres which, because of conditions outlined when Kluge gained the property in her divorce, would grant him right of first refusal on Albemare House.
Those 200 acres, the tract of rolling hills in front of the home, at one time had a nine-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. And it’s not the only other piece of Kluge’s pie Trump’s been eyeing. According to Goldman, he’s been making offers on every part of Kluge’s empire including the Vineyard Estates housing development and the winery. At Wednesday’s auction, Trump made the first bid at $2 million. He had some competition: A woman bidding on behalf of local developer Tom Sullivan bid several times, ultimately getting Trump’s reps to rise to $3.6 million before Bank of America bidded in with $15.26 million. The bank is owed $22.5 million on the estate, so by stepping in it took a $7.24 million loss.
The question on everyone’s mind now is what Trump wants to do with the properties – a British-country-house-inspired Georgian mansion, a winery and vineyard complex, and a luxury residential development. Goldman says it’s too soon to tell. “Part of it depends on what gets.”One possibility for reinventing Albemarle House: Transforming it into a luxury private club similar to his Mar-a-Lago on Palm Beach, built around the historic estate once home to Marjorie Merriweather Post. Though one Charlottesville insider points out that Trump may have a fight on his hands if he hopes to develop the estate. Historic preservationists are fierce in Albemarle County.
Trump at Cap Cana – a $2 billion luxury project
Just recently, Donald Trump partnered with Cap Cana SA to create a luxury resort on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic that was explored by Columbus on his first voyage in 1492.
The project named Trump at Cap Cana is estimated to cost $2 billion, and the features will include a condominium hotel, golf course, golf villas, beach club and 68 luxury homes.
Donald Trump tips $10,000 for an $82 meal
Just recently, Mr. Donald Trump left a $10,000 tip for a mere bill of $82 to a waiter at the Buffalo Club in Santa Monica.
According to the waiter, Billy Derober, Donald who had come in for dinner on Monday has definitely made his year. He has previously also been tipped by Jerry Bruckheimer who tipped him $500 on a $1000 check.
