Swarovski Fall/Winter Collection 2010 hits stores
Its pretty obvious that you wouldnt want to club your expensive Gucci dress with some cheap accessory. So for all girls who have been waiting for the right time to splurge on accessories, this is the time. Swarovski has launched its Fall/Winter collection 2010 featuring some stunning pieces including cocktail rings, dangly earrings, crystal-adorned bracelets, and clutches.
One of my personal favorite is the Karl Lagerfeld designed Atelier cuff (below). And with Karl’s pieces available for sale there is no better time than now to rush to the nearest Swarovski store. The variety of the accessories as always is mind blowing and any girl would go head over heels seeing the gorgeous desings. Other top designers include Stephen Webster, Holly Fulton, Christopher Kane and a few others. But remember the collection is available only in select stores.
Matryoshka doll minaudière by Judith Leiber
We love Judith Leiber. Occasions have sparkled brighter and dresses have been flaunted louder with these stunning little clutches and minaudi¨res. We have seen bugs, birds, cats and so on and now it is the Russian Matryoshka dolls. The adorable rotund figure looks appealing in multi-size crystals in a lace and snowflake pattern. Thieves break into Louis Vuitton shop
As per police officials, the front window at the Michigan Avenue Louis Vuitton store was busted Saturday morning and a thief or thieves then made off with various items such as purses and other luxury accessories from the shop’s display cases.
The burglary took place around 6 a.m. at the high-end shop at 919 N. Michigan Ave.
Several items such as purses, bags etc where being taken off by the thieves.
As per Louis Vuitton website, women’s wallets can range from approximately $500 to about $1,000, while clutches and handbags with the distinctive “LV” stamp can cost from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars.
Louis Vuitton Galuchat clutches
Louis Vuitton is out with its 1920″²s, Art Deco, Art Nouveau and color-blocking themed Galuchat clutches as a part of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The Galuchat clutches are crafted out of stingray leather. The most extravagant of the lot is the Galuchat Art Nouveau that comes with detailed exotic floral patterns crafted with ostrich leathers and beautiful hand-embellished Swarovski crystals. The 11″³ x 4.5″³ x 2.2″³ bag spots a black metallic Louis Vuitton signature clasp which comes with a matte goatskin underflap. The bag has an interior flat pocket, and a black silk and lam satin Monogram lining; it also comes with a cushion to stuff in the bag to retain its shape when put away.
The other option you can look at is the Galuchat Maestria, based on the color-block theme and a vibrant splash of colors to keep up with the Art Deco movement. The 10.8″³ x 5.1″³ x 2″³ bag features an interior flat pocket with a matte goatskin underflap and lining.
