Chopard designs gold collar for The Artist dog
Uggie the dog, who has acquired much interest after his appearance in the Oscar-winning film The Artist, sported a special custom-made Chopard bowtie of 18 carat gold and satin to the Academy Awards on Sunday. The bone-shaped charm featured an engraving of his name and will be auctioned off to benefit The Amanda Foundation, which helps homeless animals.
Chopard’s Emerald and Diamond Necklace
The elegant emerald and diamond necklace brings to life the versatile butterfly motif; it can be tagged as the new in the Chopard Animal World Collection. It is set with diamonds and cabochon emeralds totaling 23.88 carats, the necklace is part of Chopard’s haute joaillerie collection launched in celebration of its 150 anniversary.

In their quest to articulate the glorious wonders of nature, Chopard Co-President, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele has come up with a slew of exceptional designs. In addition to the ubiquitous gold and diamonds, the magnificent jewels are set with pearls, moonstones, orange sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines and even precious wood.
Comprising a host of designs, the collection is also a reflection of the artisans’ skills at lacquering, gem setting, pearl weaving and gemstone sculptures, along with modern technologies such as 3D modelling and titanium casting.
