Christies to auction vintage yet sophisticated luggage
Come May 19, Christie’s will be auctioning very stylish vintage suitcases and hold alls including a black leather semi-circular Dunhill case (estimated at $1,150 to $1,450), two lovely canvas and leather cream Hermes suitcases (pictured and estimated at $2000 to $3000) and sophisticated Louis Vuitton monogrammed suitcases (estimated $900 to $1150).
Antoine Preziuso’s Mega Tourbillon is worth $310,000
Known to be one of the world’s largest wrist watch tourbillon, The Mega Tourbillon priced at $310,000 is fabricated by master watchmaker Antoine Preziuso.
Preziuso manufactured this tourbillion to commemorate the opening of his new boutique at the Dubai Burj Al Arab hotel.

The most striking feature for me has been the use of lighter metal as titanium to make the watch wearable.

Romain Jerome, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has always been coming up with stunning creations such as the Å”Moon Dust-DNA and Å”Day & Night watch.It has once again isolated DNA from the erupting EyjafjallajƒÆ’kull volcano to create a masterpiece in horology. It is one of its kinds model which features a bold stylish volcanic effect as if ready to burst out from the steel bezel and volcanic ash case. No information on pricing is available as yet.
11 year old son of Azerbaijan President owns $44 million in Palm Jumeirah
In another case of corruption surrounding the Soviet republic, The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has reportedly bought Nine waterfront mansions on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai worth $44 million in the name of his son, Heydar Aliyev.
This is pretty puzzling when one takes into account the annual salary of the president – only $228,000 -, which is not enough to buy even the smallest Palm property.
Also, according to property data, Azerbaijanis with the same names as the president’s three children own real estate in Dubai worth about $75 million.

In a move to celebrate Frƒdƒric Chopin’s birthday, Frƒdƒrique Constant has come out with a limited edition collection of F. Chopin 2010 time pieces.
Packaged inside a miniature Frƒdƒric Chopin Piano case, the F. Chopin 2010 boasts of:
A “classical dial” with a pattern resembling piano keys right at the center
40 mm in diameter
Front and back sapphire crystal case
Swiss automatic FC caliber 303 movement
60meter water resistance.
The watch will come in two variants, normal steel and yellow gold plated steel and in a limited edition of 1,810 watches. Why 1810 you ask? Well that’s because Frƒdƒric was born in 1810.
Martin Aircraft’s Jetpack “test pilot” program is not to be missed

Do you weigh less that 90 kgs and do you have a valid driver’s license? If yes, I’m sure u would be exhilarated after reading this. New Zealand adventure travel specialist Total Experience has joined hands with Martin Aircraft to present a Jetpack “test pilot” program.
Now this program is not to be missed, why because, apart from being extremely safe, this jetpack absolutely no previous flying experience to soar the skies in this Jetpack. To be held at the Martin Aircraft in Christchurch, New Zealand, the test pilot program also offers you the choice to be accompanied by four people. You will, however, do away with your own flight time in this case.
Also, not to mention you will be provided with your safety gear and the test pilot jumpsuit. And particularly interesting is that you will be given a video of your fun flight experience in the end.
FYI – Martin Aircraft flight team has flown over 5000 tests flights of the VTOL “Jetpack” in the past year.
Jaeger-LeCoultre partners Aston Martin to launch AMVOX5 World Chronograph
Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin have again joined hands to lead to the creation of a priceless timepiece that combines horological expertise as well as automobile performance. Recently the duo announced that they will be launching the exquisite AMVOX5 World Chronograph that too blends the traits of the two great brands. This watch will enable a person to visualize the time in any of the world’s 24 time zone, at any moment.
The attractions of the timepiece include Luminescent white indicators and numerals in the 270‚° display.
The design of the chronograph is inspired by a super car and is powered by a Jaeger-LeCoultre 752 calibre movement. ‚ The AMVOX5 also features a large variable inertia balance, a winding mechanism on lubricant-free ceramic ball bearings and laser-welded balance spring. While the case is made up of high-tech ceramic combined with titanium and 18 carat pink gold, the weight of the intensely black case is much less than steel but still it is very hard which gives this watch its infallible resistance.
Cannondale unveils the Limited Edition ‘OnBike’ bicycle

Cannondale has unveiled the aggressive OnBike bicycle with “System Integrated Chain Case Technology” wherein the chain case is a single sided, fully enclosed, structural part of the bike frame.

2020 Lamborghini Minotauro concept: Breathtaking beauty on wheels

A student getting his master’s degree at Milan’s Scuola Politecnica in Design, Andrei Avarvarii has designed the 2020 Lamborghini Minotauro Concept‚ ‚ with assistance from Filippo Perini head of Lamborghini Design.
The concept would use four electric motors and split the power 30%/70% front to rear. Power would be provided by a Li-Tec flat-cell battery out back and a KERS system in the front.
According to the company’s press release, the absence of a big V12 engine in the rear creates enough room for a third passenger in a central position, like the legendary Mclaren F1.‚ The driver’s door would be normal, the passenger side’s would be bigger to provide access to the back seat.
Imagined for the year 2020, the Lamborghini Minotauro Concept will boast of triangular intakes/exhausts which will not only provide for battery cooling but also act like the tubes of a subwoofer.
The owners would also be able to experience Real Life Online Gaming. In case a real racetrack has been or is being covered, the GPS would record car placement / track time, that would allow people from all over the world to challenge an owner’s record.
