SSense Launches PRIVE, a Members Only Website Offering Discounts
SSENSE which began as a small boutique in Old Montreal in 2004 have recently announced the launch of PRIV‰, a members-only website offering a curated selection of leading designer brands at up to 70% off retail prices. Shoppers must request invitation at www.prive.com to be considered for membership.

The Manchester City Centre Store of Selfridges to be Redeveloped
Selfridges store in Manchester City Centre is the premium position the company has decided to invest $20 million in refitting and refurbishing the store. Chief executive Paul Kelly said the redevelopment of its Exchange Square outlet would take several years to complete. Plans include widening the atrium to let in more natural light and allow shoppers to get a view of the different floors on entrance to the store.
Selfridges sells several designer brands including Alexander McQueen, Hermes, Tiffany & Co and Chanel. They want to ensure that the Manchester city centre department store remains a real destination for shoppers. Some of the department will be relocated in the new store. The beauty department will be moved to the lower ground floor, while the ground floor will be turned into a luxury accessories department.
The ladies and menswear department will have more open space. The ceiling on the top floor will be replaced with glass to take in the views of Manchester’s skyline. The transformation will take place in two stages.

The bag is made of a black whipsnake (which comes in black and with sheen finish to make it appear like those outfits that Michael wore during his years) with two angled zipper pockets and a white fingerless glove with a snap closure (not sure if they are retractable) embellished with white Swarovski crystals on the front.
