Inspi(Red) Watch by Armani Against Aids
Bono and Bobby Shriver launched the (Product) Red campaign in the U.S. last month to help fund the fight to eliminate aids in Africa, cause-cautious shoppers have put these accessories on their most-desi(red) list! Giorgio Armani too answers the charitable call with a capsule collection from Emporio Armani that features accessories such as a Inspi(Red) watch. The watch has a 43mm stainless steel case with a coin-raised bezel and a leather strap. The strap is available in either black with red contrast stitching or red with black. It is a unisex timepiece and has a jumbo numerical display.
It is available in all Armani stores for about $225. Sixty percent of the 40 million people in the world infected with HIV/AIDS live in Africa. When you buy a (PRODUCT) RED product, the company gives money to buy pills that will keep someone in Africa alive. The idea is simple, the products are sexy and people live instead of die.
UAE tops the charts for Swiss watches
The Arabs sure know how to keep time. And do they do it in a stylish way! Emerging as the top importer of Swiss watches, UAE imports more than any other country in the Middle East, according to watchmaker Baume & Mercier. Watches worth $283.39bn were brought into the country in 2005, followed by Saudi Arabia ($142m).

El Primero movement is an undisputed technical feat, acclaimed as the world’s only chronograph with a heart beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, thus enabling precision measurements to within the nearest tenth of a second. The Tourbillon is the world’s greatest horological complication, aimed at compensating for the effects of gravity by placing the escapement within a revolving carriage. To associate both concepts means defying the laws of kinetics. Movement is the new El Primero caliber 4005C with 35 jewels, beating at 36,000 bph and with a power reserve of 50 hours. The rotor is done in 22kt gold.
Functions include hour and minutes in the center, date indication positioned around the carriage, a Tourbillon – the carriage is positioned at 11 o’clock and makes 1 turn per minute. Center seconds-hand with 30-minute counter is at 3 o’clock and 12-hour counter is at 6 o’clock.

Chopard proclaims LUC Chrono with LUC 10CF Movement
The official statement is out about the latest Chopard LUC Chronograph, with the in-house LUC 10CF integrated chronograph movement. In midst of his family and friends Jose Carreras, famous racer Jacky Ickx, and Jacky’s guest Audi Racing’s Tom Kristensen, Chopard president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele announced at the LUC Manufacture 10 year anniversary that Chopard will release a chronometer to boost the LUC line.
