Aston Martin and John Lobb team up to launch the Winner Sport shoes
Both Aston Martin and John Lobb have clubbed together in order to create a unique lightweight driver’s shoe- Winner Sport. The sleek aerodynamic shoe and its finely-tuned detailing is reminiscent of the body of an Aston Martin sedan. Winner Sport is crafted around John Lobb’s 8695 last and is composed of full grain calfskin and supple sheep skin. The ankle is padded with soft material for comfort and a specially engineered bonded rubber sole is wrapped beneath the shoe to give it a sleek and sporting feel.
The wholesome design of the shoe is reflect the automotive design cues of Aston Martin. Winner Sport has a Sporty Stratos White rubber sole version in colors of Graphite Grey, Winter Wheat, Frost White and Saddle Tan. The Racy Fire Red rubber soles version comes in color combinations of Storm black, Bitter Chocolate, Westminster Green and Aurora Blue. The entire range of the winter Sport shoes will be available by May 2012 in selected John Lobb and Aston Martin stores.
A round trip to Mars

Eric Clapton’s one-off Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari is used to follow the concept of creating customized one-off vehicles for special clients. If reports are to be believed, the car maker has built a special car for avid Ferrari collection and musician Eric Clapton. Said to be based on the 458 Italia, the car seems to be styled with a V12-engine that Ferrari used in the outgoing 599 and in the Enzo supercar. This customized supercar is shown off inside a glass box at the Ferrari London dealership.
Bulgari Octo Maserati watch
Bulgari & Maserati are two Italian brands that every luxury lover adores, and when they decide to come together to create a product, it has to be hot property. The collaboration has resulted in the Octo Maserati watch, much like the Hublot-Ferrari affair, but this baby was unveiled at BaselWorld 2012. The watch sports the Maserati Trident icon on its transparent caseback. The dial faced features a “vertical linear design that bears a resemblance to the Maserati’s grille vents”. It is being finished with retrograde counters and a comfortable cushioned calfskin strap the 45mm steel “Octo” case comes with an automatic mechanical movement.
2013 Mercedes SL65 AMG V12 Roadster
All new and dashing 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG V12 Roadster is all set to be launched at this year’s New York Auto Show. Featuring an AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine and an all-aluminum body-in-white and carbon body makes it 254 pounds lighter than its predecessors, the SL550 roadster and the SL63 AMG roadster. The car boasts of an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7-Speed transmission system that can hit 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, with top speeds of 186 mph. While the electric parking brake is standard equipment, you can also opt for an AMG carbon ceramic brake system.
The car can from a roadster to a coupe in less than 20 seconds thanks to its retractable hard-top with MAGIC SKY CONTROL. You can also catch up with electrically adjustable AMG sports seats with “one or two-color upholstery in exclusive leather featuring AMG-specific V12 diamond stitching”, that can also be seen on the center door panels. The back seats feature the AMG logo embossed along with the AIRSCARF neck-level heating, the multi-contour function, seat memory and seat ventilation, as a part of the standard setup. The headliner in leather sports an AMG V12 diamond stitching for better ergonomics.
The car is said to be available in Black, Shadow Grey (matte finish), Dolomite Brown, Mars Red, Steel Grey, Iridium Silver, Palladium Silver, Pearl Beige, Diamond White and Lunar Blue hues. Custom josbs include Obsidian Black, among others from the SL65 AMG designo range, along with paint jobs such as Two matte paint finishes designo Magno Cashmere White and designo Magno Alanite Grey and the metallic paints designo Mocha Black and designo Graphite.

World’s biggest 3D TV is being recently launched by LG at a launch event for new products in Beijing on Tuesday. Most expensive funeral car

Custom hearse builder Biemme Special Cars has come out with the “most luxurious and expensive funeral car” called the Rolls-Royce Phantom Hearse B12. The final journey car will be launched at the Tan Expo funeral home show in Bologna, Italy.
The vehicle is 23-feet long 4-door car that also sports the “suicide” doors. The car features a Rolls-Royce 6.75-liter V12 engine, with a self-leveling air suspension. While there is no sale price mentioned as yet, but it is speculated to be around $662,000. From the free spirited to a free spirit, let’s hope those taking this final ride don’t come back to haunt the living.
Harrods debuts technology department with a million dollar 152-inch Panasonic TV
UK’s Harrods, the upscale departmental store has unveiled a new technology department that is putting a 152” Panasonic television on sale. The TH-152UX1W model which was unveiled in CES 2010 weighs in at 600kg and is enhanced with the 4K2K technology which boasts of four times as many pixels as a conventional high definition TV set. This pretty much means that it is capable of creating a separate 3D image in HD resolution for each eye. You would get a single 152” TV set when you stack up nine 50” displays in three rows with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 resolutions.
It is a whopping $950,00. That is close to a million dollars and many notches above its original price of $670,000. But then again, Harrods is a niche store and affluent people go the extra mile only to make some heads turn.
The new 20,000sqft tech department has opened on 16th March 2012 and offers a premium selection of consumer technology categories including home computing, audio-visual, photographic and mobile communication. A bespoke suite of aftercare services will also be offered to Harrods customers with a dedicated customer service bar in-store.
