This leather skateboard by Natalia Brilli is made entirely from black lambskin. This chic skateboard has a nice, smooth buttery finish but still works hard at the skate parks. The sleek board is available for 910 Euros and you can complete the ensemble with a lambskin backpack. I think these skateboards would look amazing coming down steep ramps.

The 8-foot Tavern Bowling Game

The 8-foot Tavern Bowling Game

Up for grabs this time around is a tavern bowling game inspired by the original Shuffle Alley which was quite a hit in the 1950s.the 8-foot game lets players slide a 2 7/8-inch diameter chromed steel puck down the game’s waxed formica lane to strike ten 10 ¼-inch tall pins that “crash“. The roll-over switches have given way to magnetic reed switches that are placed beneath the pins on the playing surface that gets activated when the puck slides over. The set supports regulation bowling thanks tostandard ABC scoring rules as well as six additional variations, including “shadow” that raises the pins and dims all lights for “blind” bowling and “3-6-9″ that awards automatic strikes on frames, three, six, and nine“. It not just automates scoring but also gives you best shot suggestions, strikes, turkeys, and frame replays that too alongside commentary by PBA Champion Parker Bohn III.

Toy Triceratops Dinosaur

Toy Triceratops Dinosaur

Generally none of us will call it a toy but instead a thing to find its place in a natural history museum. The $350,000 gets you a lifelike 20 foot tall animatronic triceratops that responds to onlookers with lifelike reactions and fortissimo bellowing. The life-like reactions are courtesy of a built-in motion detecting system using cameras in each eye as well as specialised software which mimics the behavior of the animal as closely as possible as the real thing.

Once identified, subjects’ tracked movements trigger a set of responses: it sways its tri-horned head right, left, up, and down, stomps and scuffs its right forelimb, and opens its jaws while growling”"all powered by digitally controlled servos and silent, pneumatic air-activated cams. Its exterior is crafted by professional sculptors from polyurethane foam and textured silicone over a steel and aluminum frame, replicating the beast’s massive horned frill, powerful hindquarters, and tapered tail with convincing realism.
