Louis Vuitton train at Paris Fashion Week

The very famous fashion Louis Vuitton brand has lately stirred up quite a fashion revolution at the Paris Fashion Week with the Louis Vuitton train, reviving the repertoire of the luggage business from where it had its humble beginnings. The Louis Vuitton Express was set in a life-size facsimile of a train station that featured ornately arching ironwork and a giant station clock. The one carriage train liveried in navy and gold elegantly emerged from the background and pulled into the station. A navy of poised all-female cast of travelers descended from the station one by one, each of them accompanied by a uniformed, white-gloved porter carrying her handbag and luggage.

The cloths in the collection used the chequerboard “damier” pattern which was previously used on LV suitcases. The entire kit constitute a compact trolley case, a soft Boston bag, two vanity cases, a document folder, a keyholder, two bomber jackets, an oversized cashmere scarf, a baseball cap and aviator sunglasses, all sporting numbered oval sterling silver plaque set with the Maserati Trident logo. Most expensive Porsche

Porsche has recently come up with an astonishing 917/30 Can-Am race car that hailed in the motor sport series in 1973 went under the hammer and created quite a storm. These supercars are only four in number and have been been built to date and the car can hit 0-62mph in just 1.9 seconds with top speed of over 240mph. Despite its record-breaking performance, this car was was never raced. Held by private individuals, this particular car comes from Porsche collector Matthew Drendel’s collection.

The auction hammer came down at a whopping $4.4 million which is not only some big amount but also the highest ever ever price for this firm’s cars. Along with this one, another 17 from the collection were also auctioned off for a total of $36 millions. Off these, a 1955 Porsche 550/1500 RS Spyder fetched $3.68 million and 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo fetched $3.13 million.
Louis Vuitton unveils a collection

The famous brand Louis Vuitton is celebrating 10 years of watch making with a new nautically-inspired collection, highlighting 34th America’s Cup, for which it is the official timekeeper. The collection will see the new Tambour Spin Time Regatta, which will be powered with a La Fabrique du Temps complication called the Tambour Spin Time. This new complication reads time in a distinct way, “the hours are revealed by cubes that simultaneously rotate to display either a neutral or a numbered face”, to enable race countdowns.

Two watches in specific which intend to rejoice the nautical sport, the Tambour Regatta America’s Cup Automatic and the Tambour Regatta America’s Cup Quartz has also been launched. The first is limited to 720 units and is encased in a molded rubber steel case running V 171 Dubois Dépraz caliber with regatta function and “countdown visible in progressive windows on the dial”. The later is limited to 1851 units which comes in a 44 mm steel case with molded rubber with a regatta function, “with a programmable countdown with chime signal – an entirely configurable black and red chronograph that can be adapted to every kind of regatta countdown”.
