Celebrate Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday with limited edition pen sets
As per a statement released by the company in the press, if we talk about boxing, one name that instantly pops up in our mind is Muhammad Ali and Montegrappa has decided to bring out a new series of writing instruments celebrating his career and life. The series of pens honouring this greatest of boxers in 2010 and 2011, features a special limited edition set celebrating Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday.
Several options unveiled will sport 70 sets of Fountain Pen with Sterling Silver trim and Sterling Silver Cufflinks, 10 sets of Fountain Pen with Solid 18K Gold trim and Solid 18K Gold Cufflinks and 3 sets of Fountain Pen with Solid 18K Gold trim-and-diamonds and Solid 18K Gold-and-diamonds Cufflinks. Each will be presented in a luxury wooden box. The piston-fed fountain pens come with an 18-carat gold nib with ebonite feeder. The pen barrel has been designed by Lorena Straffi. Moreover, the folding back-clips on the cufflinks are shaped like miniature boxing gloves.

Roja Parfums Diaghilev bottle celebrates Easter

Roja Parfums has teamed up with Fabergé to launch a limited edition bottle of the Roja Parfums Diaghilev scent that will be offered along with a Fabergé white gold and diamond egg pendant called the Oeuf Duchesse Blanc.
The limited edition fragrance features top notes of Diaghilev by Roja Parfums made up of bergamot, lemon and orange, while base notes include oak moss, patchouli and vanilla. The 100ml perfume bottle is priced at $22,700, and will be available at Harrods and Roja Parfums. With brands such as DKNY’s million dollar perfume bottle, Angel Collector Superstar perfume bottle, Glass perfume bottle chess set, Mercedez-Benz and, Bond No 9 already out with impressive collectibles, and this one seems to be in for a tough competition.
A rare baseball card of Honus Wagner is to be auctioned
For all the baseball lovers, who are equally fond of collecting baseball cards there is one irresistible piece of news. The 1909 card of Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Honus, dubbed as the sport’s “most famous collectible” by the National Baseball Hall of Fame is actually awaiting bids at an online auction that begins today. The rare card has already made it to the news as it is expected to fetch between $1.2 million and $1.5 million.
The card is graded a 3 by Sportscard Guaranty LLC. This unique collection of card is part of Goodwin & Co.’s “Masterpieces and Uncommon Commons XL,” an auction of 528 baseball cards from the T206 series released in 1909 by the American Tobacco Co. for distribution in cigarette packs. All 528 cards are owned by a man in Texas whose identity has not been revealed. The auction will close on 19th April and there is expected to be stiff competition among baseball fans to acquire some of the rarest cards. The Wagner card began with a minimum bid of $300,000, the highest in the set, and reached $363,000 after three bids this morning.
If we keep the Wagner card, then other cards that are expected to generate interest at this auction include a card of former Philadelphia Athletics pitcher Eddie Plank (the card is graded 5.5 by SGC and features a unique “Piedmont 150” back), Hall of Fame players Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Walter Johnson and Cy Young.

The single edition one off piece is priced at $10,000.
Ferrari partners with Movado Group to roll out the Scuderia Ferrari Watch Collection

The move will go a long way in boosting Ferrari’s watch business through Movado’s expertise in design, development and distribution in order to reach our fans around the world. The new Ferrari Watch Collection that are inspired by the designs of Ferrari GT and F1 cars are all set to be debuted at the Annual Watch and Jewelry Fair held in Basel, Switzerland in 2013.
The Scuderia Ferrari Watch Collection will be priced up to $2,000 and will be sold worldwide through select wholesale distribution outlets as well as Ferrari’s stores and the Ferrari online shop. Pininfarina designed first residential project in America
Pininfarina has been delegated to design the interiors of this new building which is being developed by the Related Group, and being designed by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott at 1100 South Miami Avenue. Pininfarina has been brought in with the tough task of doing the interiors of this luxe building, making it the first American luxury condo with interiors done up by Pininfarina.
Thus, expect all 382 apartments in the 42-story tower, along with the ninth-floor pool deck with club room, the rooftop infinity pool with private cabanas, the fitness center and the private theater all to boast of the Pininfarina touches.
Hublot unveils two limited edition UEFA EURO 2012 timepieces
The world class brand Hublot, the creators of exquisite and exceptional timepieces who’ve been featured here countless times before for their expertise in the art of watch-making, has pulled the veil off its latest creations. Designed to celebrate UEFA EURO 2012 Championship, the new watches will be unveiled at the Kyiv Olympic Stadium.

The jade version set in rose gold and black PVD titanium case is priced at $225,600 while the white gold and black PVD titanium will cost $230,000.
