Bremont Unveils Platinum Conceptual Car

Bremont made a glittering entry into the Car Clock segment by introducting a mechanical beauty for the Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept Car. It was on display at Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn, California, on August 14. The Car Clock is in the honor of 75th anniversary of the British Jaguar car brand. The folks at Watch Company concede that it’s a matter of great pride for having created something unconventional for Jaguar.
Bremont thought a quartz clock wouldn’t do justice to the occasion so it built a beautiful mechanical clock with a chronograph function. Probably, on popular demand, Bremont might just toss out a wrist watch of the same model for elite Jaguar fans. This is my speculation for as of now, the company doesn’t speaking anything pertaining to this.
The premium brand of Bremont was founded by brothers Nick and Giles English and their watches are usually priced between $2,300 and $6,450.

The list of luxe attributes includes heated and cooled massaging back seat, excellent 17-speaker Lexicon audio system, watching movies on the 7.1 DTS surround-sound system, 8-inch LCD video screen and a shoebox-sized thermoelectric fridge between the seats. The only flipside here seems to be the miniscule LCD and absence of a headphone jack for listening to music through stereo speakers could be injurious to your safety in the car.
The car can achieve as much as 16 mpg in the city, 24 on the highway and 19 combined. Its interiors are characterized by butter-soft leather, with an Alcantara suede headliner, walnut veneer and polished-aluminum accents. Ferrari 458 Italia Unveiled

After Toyota followed Apple and now Ferrari has announced that it is recalling its latest super car, the 458 Italia, after several thermal incidents in the US as well as Britain, Europe and China. Simply put, the cars have been catching fire. The initial investigation has revealed that the culprit is the glue used to protect the wheel arch from the exhaust pipe.
Ferrari had started investigating the incidents soon after the incidents were reported. And the recall will pinch one of the most enduring luxury brands on the planet that has now grown beyond cars in to areas like watches, glasses and even bikes. The initial explanation from Ferrari is that the incident happens only under extreme conditions. But then that is what it is supposed to do perform under extreme conditions.
The company has been unable to explain why in less than a year a new model has been involved in six crashes. They have been trying to brush it aside by putting the blame on inexperienced drivers but the media is already calling it the Ferrari Curse.
