Creating a fine balance of fashion and some of the most exquisite alcohol in world, this incredible new line of Cognacs is one of the most prized additions to Giorgio Guccui’s own fashion label, Giorgio G, that was founded by Giorgio, after spending fifty years in the Gucci empire.

The all new line of Cognacs will be available in three different variants Giorgio G XO, Giorgio G Grand Cru and Giorgio G Grande Champagne Premier Cru, whose distribution responsibilities have now been relegated to Emperor’s Brand. The Giorgio G XO cognac is said to be over 35 years old and represents the best of the breed with its distinctive buttery vanilla and chocolate taste, as well as wood and leather undertones. The XO is a fruity and spicy Cognac, which glitters with its mahogany color. On the other hand, the Giorgio G Grand Cru is 50 years old, thereby enriching its taste all the more and gives out a copper color glitter. When you smell the Grand Cru, you get the telltale whiff of grapes, prunes, apricots, smoky oak and vanilla, along with jasmine and honeysuckle.

LVMH’s Drinks Business to be taken over by Diageo Might

France’s richest man, Bernard Arnault owns LVMH. The company owns some very famous fashion and luxury brands. The company already owns 34 percent of the stakes and now hopes to take over the entire chunk. Diageo is showing interest in Mo«t & Chandon, Krug, Dom Prignon, and Veuve Cliquot Champagne brands, and Hennessy Cognac, all of them top end drinks.

According to stats, LVMH’s drinks division accounted for 16% of the company’s overall sales of about $35 billion. It seems that Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse have advised Diageo to make an offer soon and benefit from the current situation in which, LVMH may be looking to fund a bid for Hermes. And Diageo seems to mean business. Word is out that they have already started discussing the possibilities with their bankers. The company seems to be taking advantage of the recovering economy.
