Songwriter Denise Rich Puts NYC Penthouse
As per sources, Denise Rich is a very successful songwriter, socialite, heiress, ex-wife of Swiss financier Marc Rich, and now owner of the most expensive co-op currently on the real estate market in NYC. The Fifth Avenue triplex includes 20 rooms, with seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, three kitchens, gym, wrap-around terraces, full roof terrace, and amazing views of the Manhattan skyline and Central Park. Now that Rich’s two daughters have left the nest, she is finally ready to downsize. Last year the most expensive cooperative in New York City was the $88 million apartment on Central Park West formerly owned by Chase founder Sandy Weill.
Roberto Cavalli reveals beauty line ‘dream’
Recently Roberto Cavalli and Eva Cavalli have clubbed together professionally in order to launch a beauty product range in the upcoming year.
In a WWD interview, January 27, Eva described launching a color cosmetics collection as “a dream,” while Roberto suggested hair dye could even be a potential area for expansion in the future.
She loved it. Color is the key for her. She liked to make like to create anything and everything with color and cosmetics and even the color for the hair.
2012 seems to be a very big year for the Italian fashion house with the launch of the Roberto Cavalli signature women’s perfume, a new accessories line and collaboration with watchmaker Franck Muller.
Karl Lagerfeld Designed Chanel Wine Label
When we talk about renowned fashion houses then Chanel is a name which can’t be exempted. But the fact that you might not have heard about is that they are also in the business of winery. It was founded in 1661 by Pierre de Rauzan, Château Rauzan-Ségla and is located in the heart of the Margaux appellation of France’s Bordeaux region, was acquired by Chanel in 1994.
The brand has a unique position in the luxury goods universe, and its independence as a privately held company, Chanel “endeavors to exalt the unique and precious qualities of this great vineyard with the utmost care and respect to its vines.” At the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the winery, Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has created a special label.
The Lagerfeld label adorns the new 2009 vintage, renowned for the “incomparably rich bouquet, silky intense tannins and elegant taste” that characterizes all of Château Rauzan-Ségla’s Grand Cru Classé wine. Since the acquisition, Chanel has been credited with a constant improvement of the precious, storied elixir.
The bottle has been carefully packaged with a drawing of the Château Rauzan-Ségla itself in his inimitable style, which of course bears his signature. The Grand Cru Classé will be offered at fine wine purveyors nationwide in March priced at $129, and are now available for pre-order.

If sources are to be believed, Kim Kardashian showed her loyalty to designer Rachel Roy by attending her Spring 2012 runway show. Kim arrived in Rachel Roy’s draped back design that was sophisticated styled with Christian Louboutin suede platforms, an YSL satin clutch and statement making necklace.

As per reports, Jennifer Aniston’s real estate activity had been rather busy lately. She first sold her Beverly Hills home for $30 million, purchased two penthouses in the West Village, and then scooped up a Gramercy Park apartment for around $8.7 million. In the current scenario she is going to settle in a cozy 8,500-square-foot house in Bel Air for $21 million. Four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, wine cellar, floor-to-ceiling windows, a guest house, expansive views, and a vineyard constitute the property. The property, designed in 1965 by modernist architect A. Quincy Jones, went on the market back in 2008 for $29 million.

Although it is hard to believe, it appears Beyonce and Jay-Z further splurged $600,000 on a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse, a $30,000 magical windmill playhouse and mini Bugatti car, $350,000 on identical nurseries at their three residences and thousands of dollars on designer baby wardrobe.
In addition to all this gala spending, the source stated Beyonce and Jay-Z’s friends have been generous too. Kelly Rowland is reported to have doled out $5,000 on Swarovski studded baby bath. If what this source reported is true, then Blue Ivy is truly born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
Kardashian siblings name their pups Louis and Vuitton
Kardashians sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were gifted with a pair of cute puppies this Christmas. The chocolate lab puppies were early present from Mama Kris and Dad Bruce Jenner. Kendall reportedly, excitedly tweets “! Best Xmas present ever! 2 beautiful puppies! Ahhhh thanks mom and dad”. Both sisters named the puppies Louis & Vuitton after their favorite brand Louis Vuitton. Louis belongs to Kendall while Vuitton is Kylie’s fashionable pet. Recently Kendall Jenner was gifted a range rover for her 16th birthday. It appears money can buy everything for this family.
The 2012 US Presidential race will be the most expensive
Another Presidential election is all geared up in the US. The race is getting hotter than ever before. Although the economy is dwindling President Obama is making this the most expensive presidential race in its time as he has risen close to $200 million already for his re-election in 2012. Daily Mail reported that Obama raised around $155 million through September and with $60 million more in the final quarter of 2011. Other candidates aren’t far behind either. Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and Ron Paul have managed to collect well over the $10 million mark before 2011 ends. The Daily Mail adds that Romney has managed a neat $32.2 million; Perry has raised $17.2 million while Ron Paul has raised $12.6 million.
Madonna’s Debut Fragrance Ad Campaign
Finally the much awaited fragrance by Madonna is out with a bang. ‘Truth or Dare’ is due to hit Macy’s in March next year. The most innovative way of doing an ad campaign by the pop star was the fact that she did not shoot for the same, but instead got the images from 2010 Interview magazine spread shot by Mert & Marcus recycled. The fragrance itself has been inspired by her own mother who “always smelled like Gardenias and Tuberose. It is an intoxicating mixture of being feminine and mysterious.” She further adds that the fragrance will contain notes of “narcotic florals, balanced with addictive woods and vanilla.” The launch of the fragrance will be followed by a line of accessories like bracelets, earrings and also sexy lingerie. Not just that, the ‘truth or dare’ line will also include a special Dom Perignon champagne bottle with custom made packaging.
