Easter is almost there thus the world of luxury is all set to welcome the same in all swing. The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is geared to hog on the limelight, but before that there is something very intewresed who have a narrow scope of winning. Roja Parfums has teamed up with Fabergé to launch a limited edition bottle of the Roja Parfums Diaghilev scent that will be offered along with a Fabergé white gold and diamond egg pendant called the Oeuf Duchesse Blanc.

The limited edition fragrance features top notes of Diaghilev by Roja Parfums made up of bergamot, lemon and orange, while base notes include oak moss, patchouli and vanilla. The 100ml perfume bottle is priced at $22,700, and will be available at Harrods and Roja Parfums. With brands such as DKNY’s million dollar perfume bottle, Angel Collector Superstar perfume bottle, Glass perfume bottle chess set, Mercedez-Benz and, Bond No 9 already out with impressive collectibles, and this one seems to be in for a tough competition.

The very famous fashion Louis Vuitton brand has lately stirred up quite a fashion revolution at the Paris Fashion Week with the Louis Vuitton train, reviving the repertoire of the luggage business from where it had its humble beginnings. The Louis Vuitton Express was set in a life-size facsimile of a train station that featured ornately arching ironwork and a giant station clock. The one carriage train liveried in navy and gold elegantly emerged from the background and pulled into the station. A navy of poised all-female cast of travelers descended from the station one by one, each of them accompanied by a uniformed, white-gloved porter carrying her handbag and luggage.

The entire collection has a huge variety of luggage and fashion intertwined in every aspect of the collection taking into consideration what a lady traveler would carry for a bag, what she would wear and where she would go. The cloths in the collection used the chequerboard “damier” pattern which was previously used on LV suitcases. The entire collection elements such as the hats, silhouettes and high waist resonated with the 1960’s and 1970’s aura. Model Kel Markey claims that the train had beautiful interiors and cost a whopping $8 million, although LV declined to comment on it.

CK One is expanding into color cosmetics, with aims to offer simple makeup to suit both men and women. Comprising products including skin perfecting concealers and foundation as well as bronzer, blush, mascara and color cosmetics such as eye shadow and lipstick, the packaging will be matte black and white to evoke the practical approach to beauty.

Many items have been designed to make life easier, including a 3-in-1 Face Makeup which blends serum, primer and face makeup into a lightweight formula.

The collection will launch at Spanish department store El Corte Inglés in March before reaching destinations including the US, Australia and France in April. Other countries including the UK, Germany and Brazil will follow in fall 2012. Price points begin at around $13.

The ad campaigns will launch in March, starring an array of models including Lara Stone and males such as Viggo Jonasson and Yuri Pleskun. It is expected the line’s simplistic approach will appeal to men too. CK One color is not about transformation or dramatization. It’s about looking real, defining you and adding intensity.

Monica Bellucci has teamed up with Dolce & Gabbana for a limited edition lipstick line designed to reflect a woman’s “state of mind”.

After the announcement of Kate Winslet’s charity makeup line for French beauty giant Lancôme last year, Italian star Bellucci is the latest actress to venture into the realm.

The idea for the collection was to create different shades, different colors depending on your mood of the day, your state of mind,” the actress told WWD February 17. He loves all shades in the collection and feel drawn to the different colors, depending on how he feels.

The advertising campaign for the Monica Lipstick Collection was captured by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, known for their work with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Missoni and Giorgio Armani.  Evoking classic Italian cinema, it is set to run in publications across Italy, America, the UK, Russia and the Middle East this May. Bellucci is also a new face of the Italian fashion house’s beauty collection, joining other Dolce & Gabbana Make Up actress front women Scarlett Johansson and Felicity Jones.

Recently Roberto Cavalli and Eva Cavalli have clubbed together professionally in order to launch a beauty product range in the upcoming year.

In a WWD interview, January 27, Eva described launching a color cosmetics collection as “a dream,” while Roberto suggested hair dye could even be a potential area for expansion in the future.

She loved it. Color is the key for her. She liked to make like to create anything and everything with color and cosmetics and even the color for the hair.

2012 seems to be a very big year for the Italian fashion house with the launch of the Roberto Cavalli signature women’s perfume, a new accessories line and collaboration with watchmaker Franck Muller.

Finally the much awaited fragrance by Madonna is out with a bang. ‘Truth or Dare’ is due to hit Macy’s in March next year. The most innovative way of doing an ad campaign by the pop star was the fact that she did not shoot for the same, but instead got the images from 2010 Interview magazine spread shot by Mert & Marcus recycled. The fragrance itself has been inspired by her own mother who “always smelled like Gardenias and Tuberose. It is an intoxicating mixture of being feminine and mysterious.” She further adds that the fragrance will contain notes of “narcotic florals, balanced with addictive woods and vanilla.” The launch of the fragrance will be followed by a line of accessories like bracelets, earrings and also sexy lingerie. Not just that, the ‘truth or dare’ line will also include a special Dom Perignon champagne bottle with custom made packaging.
