Fine craftsmanship was always admired and in demand, and so furniture began to pass through the generations accruing in value right up to the present day.

Arredo Classic, the Italian furniture brand seems to have taken the trend to India. It is known for its classical style of furniture, recently launched its first flagship store at Blues Home at The Gallery in New Delhi. It is currently on display at the store are four collections-Mythos, Raffaello, Giotto and Liberty.

Our designs have evolved over the years. Our collections are defined by lacquer finishes, pale colors, gold leaf ornaments and frames. The latest of our collections, Liberty takes inspiration from Greek ornamentation. In order to give it a slight contemporary twist, gold framing has been used. While Victorian and Art Nouveau styles of vintage furniture are often the reference point for contemporary designers seeking inspiration, Lorena describes the Liberty collection as neoclassical, since it’s a mix of styles.
